Well I must say that I do not agree with the take on Mary being any unity for anything..This takes away from My Lord and I will not give His glory to another...
It is precisely because of her privileges and the exceptional gifts of grace which the Holy Spirit gave her that Mary is saluted in the liturgy as "Temple of the Lord" and "Sanctuary of the Holy Spirit."
It says in Colosians 3, "When Christ, who is our life, appear, you will appear with Him in glory." So does that mean you will refuse to share in Christ's glory when you get into heaven?

Let's look at the Trinity.
Three seperate disctinc person but of the same essence.
Jesus is of the same essence of the Father and Holy Spirit.
Jesus being of the same essence of the Holy Spirit and Father dwelt with in Mary for nine months.
Hince She is the Temple of the Holy Spirit and the Temple of the Lord.
Peace
Jesus dwelt in the world for about 33 years (John 1:14), so I guess the world must be the Temple of the Lord, too - even more so.
Yes!1 Cor 3 v 16 says the temple of God is within us so I could be called a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit also as John 3 v 6 says that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Well I must say that I do not agree with the take on Mary being any unity for anything..This takes away from My Lord and I will not give His glory to another...
That is about the worst thing i've heard yet.

The Holy Spirit and Mary
The Catholic Church has always believed, moreover, that when the Holy Spirit intervened in a personal way (even though inseparably from the other Persons of the Most Blessed Trinity) in the work of man's salvation,(3) he made the humble Virgin of Nazareth his associate in that work. The Church has also maintained that the Holy Spirit acted therein in a manner consistent with his proper character as Personal Love of the Father and Son. That is, he acted with both infinite power and infinite gentleness in perfectly adapting the person of Mary and her dynamic powers of body and spirit to the role assigned her in the plan of redemption.(4)
This belief has arisen from an ever deeper and clearer understanding of the sacred texts. On the basis of it, the Fathers and Doctors of the eastern and western Churches have attributed to the various missions of the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, the fullness of grace and charity, of gifts and fruits of virtue, of evangelical beatitudes and special charisms which, like a trousseau for a heavenly marriage, adorned the predestined mystical Spouse of the divine Paraclete and the Mother of God's Word made flesh. It is precisely because of her privileges and the exceptional gifts of grace which the Holy Spirit gave her that Mary is saluted in the liturgy as "Temple of the Lord" and "Sanctuary of the Holy Spirit."

AS I said, she was the spouse of the Holy Spirit...
as posted by WA...
ALL I can say is OH my goodness...that is something else..now the Holy Spirit was married????????????
that is what they say.. They say alot of things that just blow my mind. Nothing in comparison to scripture.. Just what ever their minds want to believe I guess and call it tradition.. Then make the statement they are the one and only true church..
sure I will. I will honour MY mother. And even if He wants honor for His mother, as He Himself showed obedience and honor to her...?
You will still NOT imitate His actions?
WA said:How so?>
Mary was united to the Holy Spirit.
AS I said, she was the spouse of the Holy Spirit..

probably not, hence why I didn't ask nor comment. I am still in shock on that one. That must be some Bible that states that!Would it do any good to ask what Scripture says that the Holy Spirit was married?
Would it do any good to ask for anyone - saint or heretic - from the First or Second Centuries who even as a private individual personal opinion believed that God is married to Mary?

God has not honored the earth as He has honored mankind. We are the pinnacle of His creation and the apple of His eye. It is for us that He came down from His eternal glory to save and to bring to be His eternal bride. He has made us but a little lower than the angels, and crowned us with glory.Jesus dwelt in the world for about 33 years (John 1:14), so I guess the world must be the Temple of the Lord, too - even more so.
so basically your position is, if PV and Sinlessness are disbelieved, any honour paid Mary is lip service?God has not honored the earth as He has honored mankind. We are the pinnacle of His creation and the apple of His eye. It is for us that He came down from His eternal glory to save and to bring to be His eternal bride. He has made us but a little lower than the angels, and crowned us with glory.
And He commenced this epic work through the fecundity
of Mary's blessed, faithful heart.
There is no comparison of what God wrought within Mary to anything in all of the history of man. But because honoring Mary is deemed Catholic, then with great and abundant disdain the honor and blessing due the greatest of all saints is cast underfoot in partisan bickering, both by those who are ardent iconoclasts and by those who pay lip service to honoring her, as we see here so clearly exemplified.
Jude spoke in some brevity about those who revile what they do not understand. His words are here noteworthy and applicable.
We are the apple of His eye.
