Is it okay for a Christian to seek revenge?

That's another thing I was thinking about. Vengeance is the Lord's.God speaking—— “ I “ will repay. “ Vengance is MINE”
However, prison isn't a wrong solution for dangerous criminals.
Prison isn't "revenge". It is punishment for crimes committed. The punishment isn't random but known and established before the crime is committed.
Is it okay for a Christian to seek revenge?
Revenge? No. There is an old saying that revenge is sweet; and that is why God reserves it to Himself.
Now Justice is not the same as revenge, and that can, and in most cases SHOULD, be pursued. If someone has done a violent crime, they should face the charges on that. Even if it only serves to keep them from harming someone else.
God will see to it that they get justice. If not in this life, definitely in the next.But what happens if there isnt enough proof to legally charge the person even though they are guilty? They just simply get away with it.
