In a word, no. "Do not repay evil with evil".

Imagine that you hated someone for something they did to you but then you made it to heaven only to find them there also. Eternity is a long time to hold a grudge.

Now Justice is not the same as revenge, and that can, and in most cases SHOULD, be pursued. If someone has done a violent crime, they should face the charges on that. Even if it only serves to keep them from harming someone else.

Pray for God to bless that person at your own expense. And then pray that you not be blessed or credited for making this prayer. Your reward is that the person who harmed you is blessed. If you only pray such things to curry a reward from God but not out of genuine concern and love for that other person, where is the good in that? We should seek God's favor be holy as Christ is holy. Even on the cross he prayed out of love and concern for those who put Him there - He did not do this for His own benefit. The Father being pleased and His enemies being forgiven was Christ's reward.

If someone forces you to walk a mile, walk two miles.
If the devil comes against you; pay him back with fasting and prayers.

Fighting back is okay as long as you do it in the Jesus way.
It will make you grow.

revenge stirs anger as though we are the judge, when God is judge, revenge also makes us ignorant of grace,

there was a man who killed Christians, if Christians got revenge on him they would have kill Saint Paul who ended up spreading Christianity throughout most of the known world at the time.

Prison isn't "revenge". It is punishment for crimes committed. The punishment isn't random but known and established before the crime is committed.

But what happens if there isnt enough proof to legally charge the person even though they are guilty? They just simply get away with it.
