You are exactly right, but this person realizes that if you do point a weapon at someone, you better be ready to use it. If someone tries to call your bluff, if you are disarmed, situation can be 100 times worse with possibility of more than just you being hurt or killed.

No, that's not stupid. In fact, from a non-Christian point of view, it's very smart. What is stupid is saying you're a Christian and then using things like a Kenny Rogers song to justify non-Christian attitudes. If you'd care to have a scriptural debate rather than a discographical cone, we can proceed from the assumption that you are not a troll.
