Replacement Theology is a toxic doctrine which most churches have eshewed. It is the manure upon which Christian anti-Semitism grows. It is not just wrong, it is a doctrine that has led to great evil in church history. There is a new doctrine, namely called the Replacement theology which purports that the Chosen Israelites are replaced by the Christian church. This means that we do not have to support the Israeli community because of their failure to acknowledge Christ as the son of God, the Messiah who died on the cross and who will reign again.
Scripture however throughout the old and new testaments commands us to pray for Israel, the chosen people and chosen nation.
This doctrine I believe will cause a great chasm and schism in the body as it has already began. This is why it is crucial that we seek the Word diligently and pray for understanding and revelation. No where, and if someone can--please share, where in the Word does it state that God's chosen is or was replaced. Even looking at the last book in Revelations 7 it speaks again about the Sealed of Israel so my questions is this, what man has the power to unseal that which is already sealed by the Father?
In Genesis 17, God creates an EVERLASTING covenant with Abraham and his descendants through Isaac, promising them the land of Canaan as an EVERLASTING possession. In Romans 9:4, Paul states that the Jews have the covenants -- PRESENT TENSE. In Romans 11:29 he says that the gifts and callings of the Jews are irrevocable. In Romans 11:29 he says unequivocally that in terms of election, they are loved for the sake of the Patriarchs.
There is a verse which speaks of believers being part of the commonwealth of Israel. This does not refer to Israel. It refers to Gentiles living in the promised land, as when Romans lived in Judea.
