The problem with this that time as Being counted from the beginning for Genesis 1:1 indicates the beginning of time namely the first day of the week (v.5). You confuse the first day of the year with the first day of the week:

The so-called "gap theory" that is meant to exist between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2, is no more than conjecture, which is neither found in the Hebrew or Greek grammar of the structure of the passage, or in any other passage in the entire Holy Bible, which is just the 66 Books, and no additions as some "bibles" have.
God exits outside the confines of time. God's Day is from darkness/night to light/morning (much like the process taking place within/journey of our soul)... before the sun, moon and stars were created on the the fourth day. Which has to do with our perception as it relates to the question asked to Adam, "Where art thou?"

Okay...I am not measuring God. I simply pointed out the difference between the days of the week and the days of the year.He has removed all confusion for He is a God of order and nothing is out place, everything exactly as it is supposed to be. He has a purpose He purposed in Himself since the beginning. In this place (of entering in) time has no meaning as it pertains to eternal truth.
God is outside of the confines of time as man knows/sees...a day of the Lord is as a thousand years and Adam lived 930 years, falling short by 70 years to being complete in God's time...which is a truth relative to our soul journey/process taking place within. Things are not as they appear to the mind of man...
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

the near death experience of Dr. Richard Eby is an actual meeting of a man with Messiah Yeshua - Jesus then it seems that Gap Theory is probably correct.
It would sure explain what Dr. Eby is shown about the revolt of Satan / Lucifer and one third of the angels.

God existed from eternity in the past and if God..........
actually planned, engineered and choreographed an essentially infinite
number of Big Bang type events......(they might actually might have been more
like a Big Flash though)...... .then..... investing infinite time in the past in the
creation........ could make the creation infinitely valuable to God.......
but we humans are so young...... that we place relatively low value on our
lives and even less value on the lives of others...... and even less value than that
on the lives of animals, birds, fish and plants.
Infinity implies eternity, and eternity is NO time. God is eternal, meaning he exists OUTSIDE of time. So the whole idea of infinity past is meaningless. Rather, you should be looking at the eternal NOW.
As far as God having a relationship with the economy is without merit at all.
You two do understand that economy is Greek for 'House management' right? Why wouldn't God be involved in managing the household...which by the way involves finances...there's a difference between loving money and managing it properly.No man can serve 2 masters. One cannot serve God and Greed.
