the president of iran saying that israel is a threat to islamic nations is ironic on such a massive level, its incomprehensible. Didnt this guy call for israel to be wiped off the map? You'd think that a terrorist such as himself would at least show a little consistancy. Maybe thats why he's a tad upset, Israel wont back down in the face of terrorism.

I third that. If Israel is so God-ordained, then let God protect them. Not us.
Iam sure that will happen as if you are familiar with end time scripture the USA is not mentioned much if at all and as a world power that means we would have to be brought down

The ultimate endgame of the Mideast will be ushered in by mushroom clouds.

Israel has nukes, and they will use them before they are driven into the sea. And if Iran gets nukes, they're liable to just use them first is a fiery first strike.

And you know Pakistan isn't going to like Israel blowing up their neighbors, and Musharaf might not be able to control his government, especially his nukes.

And China and Russia certainly won't like their neighbors being nuked, especially on a mass scale like Isreal would hit them if they were about to lose. They'ld have to deal with the fallout.

So when the Mideast "peace" falls apart, it's gonna ruin everyone's day, even if the only affect you feel is 5$, 10$ a gallon gas prices.

The modern political state of Israel is not the same as Israel in the Old Testament in that it is no longer a special nation to God any more than any other nation. The gospel of Christ Jesus is for everyone, not only for those descended from Abraham through Isaac.

The premillennialist/dispensationalist crowd greatly misunderstands the Bible in the area of eschatology. I wish that they had much less influence in the church and on U.S. foreign policy. Hopefully as time goes on their ideas will be rejected by those in the church and by those in government.

No nation is mentioned in Biblical eschatology as Biblical eschatology mentions only that Christ Jesus will return and the events surrounded that return which is when time ends and this present heavens and earth passes away to be replaced by the new heavens and earth where righteousness will dwell forever and ever.
