Countering racism with racism like "we good looking Asians" is not a step in the right direction.

How is that racist, why is there no good looking Asians out there, just look at my photo.

Besides, I was being sarcastic,
Most racism I had encounter because of my interracial marriage are from "white supremest" who think we are polluting their gene pool, and are wiping out their race.

A half-italian, half-frenchman who grows up in Italy just like a normal Italian boy is going to be assimilated into that culture. The same is untrue for a half asian or a half black, who looks and behaves nothing like the local people, nor does he have a similar genetic makeup.

I know legions of Chinese who would detest the idea of marrying with Japanese. There are similar correlations of disagreement in mixing of the races when it comes to Japanese and Koreans.

I suggest you take to the streets of these clearly foul, racist countries and lecture them on the evils of what they believe. Do the Japanese think there are no good looking Koreans? Obviously the Koreans must be stealing all their women.

Or perhaps -- and this is just a thought -- they want to preserve their national and racial identity.

OK well if you put it that way but when you say "we good looking Asians" it implies all Asians when there is no context to differentiate.

That is because you are in the United States and most people are white here, so most racists you meet will be white. If you went to Asia you would find that there are many who would think you are polluting the Asian gene pool by marrying a white woman. I have met them, they are real. In addition to 'polluting the gene pool' of the Asian race collectively, they take offense when Koreans marry Japanese, Chinese marry Thai, and Hmong marry Laotian. In addition, it is the norm for them to believe behaviors are racially genetic. In Japan they think that black people genetically have a sense of musical rhythm, and that people from Thailand are genetically more angry like certain breeds of dog such as Pit Bull. A few years back a major businessman and politician almost went bankrupt when it became public knowledge that his business style was decidedly un-Japanese. Because of that, people thought he must be part Korean or Chinese and he lost quite a bit of business. In Japan, the governor of Tokyo issued statements that if a major earthquake occurred, Koreans in Japan would likely riot (despite in the last great earthquake the Japanese being the ones who rioted). If the mayor of a major city like LA or New York said something similar about black people it would end his political career. However in Japan he continues to govern to this day.

So what's my point in all this? Well, white people by no means have a monopoly on racism or even a majority shareholding and, in fact are a minority themselves at only 8% of the world's population (Asians being the largest).

I wouldn't term any of the above "racism" because that potrays it in a negative light.

If the Korean, Japanese or Chinese races were bred out of existence into one homogenous mongrel race it would be a huge tragedy, as would it be anywhere else in the world. Every race has a right to preserve and take pride in itself - and a child should be born with a race he or she can identify with. That is why race mixing is a terrible idea.

I had been to China many times, and I had yet to experience these racist people you are talking about.

The Italians are non-indo-european indigenous inhabitants of the region and do not share ANY genetic comonality with the Germans/French. Unless you can demonstrate genetic evidence of shared ancestry that confirms your unsupported contention that there are only "minor genetic differences", I will ask you again - Are Italians and French different races.

Every statement you just made is false.

Europeans, as a whole, are completely common in terms of ancestry; whether you subscribe to creationism or evolutionism. There is hardly any genetic difference between them. Europeans as a whole are divided into three different types; nordic, alpine and mediterranean. The mediterranean type died out with the Roman empire, so that most living in Italy today are a mixture of mediterranean and nordic, while those in Eastern Europe are alpine.

Regardless, they're all one of a kind - the three main races of humanity, black, white and yellow can be segregated into those three safely. There is barely a scrap of difference between a Frenchman and an Italian in terms of DNA.

He is absolutely correct. This is quite common over there, with one exception in that it is somewhat trendy for women to 'marry up' with American guys, but this only applies to white and American, not white and German, not non-white and American. It is unlogical, but reality.

I have not posted before on this thread, so I hope you will not mind me sharing....

What I have come to know of Jesus Christ, He enjoyed the company and the hearts of people that could love in difficult situations, people that others found hard to love, such as the story of the Good Samaritan...

My daughter dated a young man that was African and Mexican American. She is Italian - Slovak - Indian American.... and a few more. She is beautiful. She ended up not being with this young man, but if she would have wanted to marry him, she would have had our blessing, and I believe it would have been fine with the Lord.....

Italians are not descended from the Nordic - true in once sense, false in another.

The Italians were originally of mediterranean stock, but racial mixing between the nordic Germans during the decline and sacking of the Roman Empire has caused the modern day italians to be a mix of nordic and mediterranean. The mediterranean phenotype has died out.

Most European nations blend one into another; for example, England alone is a mixture of Roman, Celtic, Danish and Norman. For all practical purposes, Italians and French are exactly the same. A french boy who grows up in Italy thinking that he is Italian will have no problems. A half caste mulatto or eurasian, however, will.

I never stated a belief in superiority in the white race. This is your own inferiority complex being projected onto me.

I believe that all races - from the Africans to the Asians to the Europeans - have the right to preserve themselves without fear of accusations of "racism," of which now seems to be akin to being a murderer or a rapist.

I believe that the real racists are those who believe we should homogenize into one single race, throwing all culture and history to the winds. The idea of that ever coming to reality makes me feel ill.

I want to go to China and experience their country, and see their people. I want to experience the French culture, the German culture, the American way of life. I don't want to see the same mongrel race worldwide, with no ties to history or culture or tradition. God save us if that ever happened.
