Do you think all white people share the same culture and identity?I think it takes a strong man to stand up and say; no, I don't agree with race mixing, I think every race should have a right to preserve its culture and identity and to hell with political correctness.
I was describing their way of thinking. Actually the term was coined by my Ogikubo-born Japanese girlfriend to describe the trend. So no, I do not think they are marrying up. They do.notice that you
think they are marring up
why is that?
It's very, very weird don't you think?
My perceptions come from experience gleaned over time and filtered through an healthy skepticism, validated by others.I think you are watching too many martial arts movies

What bothers me most is that when one prefers to stay within their race, they are called racist. It doesn't have anything to do with christianity or being racist, it's just personal preference.
Norweigens
The problem comes when you transcend the colour line and create a half caste with no identity or place in the world.
with my paternal grandfather's family. They were Sephardic Jews *gasp*. What *were* my grandparents THINKING when they got married?!?! And that was WAAAY back in 1932, when the USA was a much more bigoted place. What bothers me most is that when one prefers to stay within their race, they are called racist. First of all, it's spelled Norwegian.
The problem comes when parents in recent years insist on continuing to raise their children iup to become bigoted jerks who have no idea what they are talking about.
For example: You don't even have any clue what the word "caste means or what it refers to, from the looks of how you are using it. It has to do with social structure, not genetics. nationality or race.
And yeah, I'm one of those people with "no history" you keep talking about. My mother is Norwegian, my maternal grandmother's family was English (I had an ancestor on the Mayflower crossing) with a little German thrown in. The "problem" comeswith my paternal grandfather's family. They were Sephardic Jews *gasp*. What *were* my grandparents THINKING when they got married?!?! And that was WAAAY back in 1932, when the USA was a much more bigoted place.
But I've had no problems with MY heritage. I know exactly who I am, and I'm proud of it all. And there are many others out there who are like me, comfortable with all of who they are. The problem is people like you who make an issue out of the fact that a person is of mixed heritage to begin with. If the bigots of the world would just shut up about it, the entire issue would die.
Way to twist an argument. The person in question was not called a racist because his preference is to stay within his own race. He was called a racist because he wants EVERYONE to stay within their own race. Clear difference.
Half caste has always been in very common usage as a word for a mixbreed or a mulatto - it's just a phrase. Look it up.
Quite -- for reasons already stated. Mixed race marriages harm the child who has to grow up with no culture, history or traditions to call its own. A half caste has no place in the world, constantly struggling for acceptance. It is damaging on the part of the parents.
On a broader scale, if interracial marriage became wholly commonplace and all the races blended into one homogeneous race, it would be a tragedy of the highest order - because we would also lose France, China, Germany, Japan, etc - with it. I prefer the world to have different races. Feel free to shout the vilest abuse at me for saying it.

two of your grandparents were sephardic jews?
Sephardic jews are white in the first place. They're descended form a tribe in Russia called the khazars who converted to Judaism in the 7th century. To be more accurate you'd call your grandparents Russian, but regardless to act all insulted at me towards me isn't doing yourself any favours.
Ashkenazic Jews are the Jews of France, Germany, and Eastern Europe and their descendants. Sephardic Jews are the Jews of Spain, Portugal, North Africa and the Middle East and their descendants. Sephardic Jews are often subdivided into Sephardim (from Spain and Portugal) and Mizrachim (from the Northern Africa and the Middle East), though there is much overlap between those groups. Until the 1400s, the Iberian Peninsula, North Africa and the Middle East were all controlled by Muslims, who generally allowed Jews to move freely throughout the region. When the Jews were expelled from Spain in 1492, many of them were absorbed into existing Mizrachi communities in Northern Africa and the Middle East.
The word "Sephardic" is derived from the Hebrew word for Spain.
It is believed that Jews have lived in Spain since the era of King Solomon (c.965-930 B.C.E.). Little information can be found on these Jews until the beginning of the first century. We do know that in 305 C.E., the Council of Toledo passed an edict forbidding Jews from blessing the crops of non-Jews and prohibiting Jews and non-Jews from eating together.
True. However some people find the word insulting or derogatory though.
You sound like a broken record. Personally, I couldn't care less if people mistake me for being mediterranean, turkish, greek or any other country they might think i come from. I do have a problem with people like you saying that i have no place in the world due to mixed bloodlines.
Only a racist could say that someone like me has no part in the world.
Only a racist could define someone solely by the colour of their skin. Only a racist could say that whites must marry whites and blacks must marry blacks.

You could not be more wrong.
Since you do not cite a source for your information, you can't prove what you've written to be fact. I can prove that you are wrong, however.

Again, WAY off base with your "argument". Not to mention the fact that my surname, Alberga, definitely is NOT Russian. It is from the Spanish verb "albergar" which means "to give shelter to". If you did your research before opening your big mouth, you'd find out that the Sephardic language "ladino" is very similar to Spanish, and for good reason - I went to a concert of Sephardic music a few years back with my then-boyfriend who is Puerto Rican and he was able to understand most of the lyrics. Nor is there ANY evidence that my ancestors came from Russia.
Another link for your reading pleasure. Please note that there is nothing about Russians in the folloowing quote.
