Orthodox Christian.Is we...orthodox?
Harsh"Is we...orthodox?"
Were the words "Eastern Orthodox" in the box under the member's avatar insufficient as a hint?.
That was flat out rude."Is we...orthodox?"

Ok understood.Orthodox Christian.
Sorry, I didn't know that my faith designation didn't appear to everyone. I'll try to remember to be more conscientious about that if I'm replying to posts.Ok understood.
You didn't get a one sided conversation. What you got is an affirmation that the words in the passages mean what they say.You don't appear to like that.I plan to study it on my own but i was not expecting a one sided conversation.
I dont appear to like nor dislike it. I am just hoping for more than 2 chuncks of verses as a dialog between us.You didn't get a one sided conversation. What you got is an affirmation that the words in the passages mean what they say.You don't appear to like that.
Three passages, not twoI dont appear to like nor dislike it. I am just hoping for more than 2 chuncks of verses as a dialog between us.

You ought to, it is also about baptism. If you did some research you'd know why.I know three but i am not researching hebrews...

The early church writers regarded enlightened as one of several words meaning baptised with water and Spirit. That sheds some light on Hebrews 6.Ok ill take your advice.
What have you learned from these verses in your contextual, subject and word study?
All those in the NT were adults and asked to be baptized....
No?
Do you believe someone can enter Heaven WITHOUT being dunked in water or sprinkled?
Do you believe everyone who is dunked in water receives the Holy Spirit and is Born of God?
Maybe, maybe not. Entire households are described as being baptized.

In biblical standards, do they not only refer to men of age when they talk of "households" and such?Read acts 8:36-37
Whole chapter for context tell me what you see

If my teachers were correct, when Christ fed the 5000, that was 5000 men of age. The numbers were higher when you figure in the women and children under a certain age.
Would this not hold true to this scripture?
