Which has been proven time and time again that there were no terrorist threats in Iraq, before we invaded. Saddam was a secularist muslim that hated the extremists.
As for US interest, since when does the interest of a nation over take human life? I see every saying how human life is precious, but because of the US' "interests" millions have died world wide. From argentina, to afghanistan, Cuba to Iraq, supporting terrorist regimes such as uzbekistan, pakistan, saudi arabia, and turkey, funding rightist dictators, the US is the leader in death. God will punish this country justly for the violence, hate, bigotry, idolatry, and most importantly, the use of His WORD, His SACRIFICE, and His KINGDOM, to justify those things listed above.
You also my want to buy some shampoo to help that sand out of your hair, since you seem to keep your head in the sand. How any one can justify any US politician, especially one that says he is christian, and then goes against the basics of christ's message, i will never understand.
You can say as many negating or disapproving terms that you want. The point still stands. If you open your eyes, and your heart, you will see the truth of the matter. May God bless you.
Do us all a favor and MOVE out of this wonderful country. Have you ever spent a minute away from your own back yard? Have you ever walked the streets in the mid-east? If we are so bad and are going to be punished then hit the road.
How easy it is to forget that because of the fights for freedom we have endured people like you can say this crap about our country. Move to Iran or Cuba and say these things over there. Good luck and bring a body guard and bullet proof vest.
Oh Yes, the "leave if you don't like it" line. That's the only thing people can say. Guess what, I am still here because I want to change the evil ways of this nation. I want to change the hearts of the people. And guess what else? I am going to be in the streets of the middle east in just a few years, Lebanon and palestine to be exact. God has put a passion in my heart to bring peace and love to people. To change them from evil ways, and you are sitting here undermining what God has told me to do? Get thee behind me! Security matters not to me. For if i live, it is christ, and if I die it is gain, no? I live for Christ, and die for Christ. Nothing, not even being killed by the world, can take that passion away from me. I have a passion for God, and He put compassion in my heart for my fellow man. I'd hope and pray that'd he do the same for the rest of His followers, especially people such as yourself that are so quick to dismiss any message of peace, purity, and anti-worldly things.
First off, yep, you don't like it hit the road.
As for what God has led you to do, good luck as God leads me down a different road.
Man, your statement is so wrong. People didn't agree with slavery, did they leave? No They fought it until the wrong was made right. People didn't like segregation, did they leave? No they stood up for what was right. I don't like it when leaders take too much control of a government, and lead the nation down a path of sin, destruction and death, so should I leave, or stand up for what is right?
If you were fighting for what was right then by all means fight. And in all the cases you mentioned the people fought for a change. If they condemned the US as you have then I would have told them the same thing.
I am not condemning it, just telling the truth. This nation will fall because of what it has done, and it will face judgment in the end. We have the opportunity, as the 'greatest' nation in the world to change things, yet we are complacent with out sin laden ways.
Well, as I said earlier it is because you live here you can say these things. I disagree with your entire opinion and do not believe what you speak is the truth.
No, if I lived anywhere, I'd say these things. The early christians were thrown to the lions, but did they step down? No, they stood their ground, despite persecution. My freedom does not come from any piece of paper, or governmental decree, but comes from Christ the risen king. And how can what I say be false? Does it not agree with how Christ lived His life? I don't get my authority to say these things from any book, preacher, person, doctrine etc, but these words flow through me from God. God has put this message on my heart to bring to the people, christian and non christian alike.
From Christ as well. All will stand before God on judgement day. Every nation, tongue, tribe, and person. No one will escape it. Either you are in the book of life, or you are not. America will be judged for its misdeeds then, and probably before, just as Israel was when it turned away from God in the OT. Remember the captivity and such? How can what you say be false? Because you are not the first to say the US will be punished for our so-called sins. We have all heard it before from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Bin Laden, Saddam,
ZilamWell, I believe GWB was in albania a few weeks back, he wasn't arrested then. It'd have to be after his reign of terror ends in 2009.

I dont agree with everthing President Bush does, but 'reign of terror'?? Using this ludicrous language only tends to stop people from taking you seriously after that...'reign of terror'? If you were a little older, or really knew what a reign of terror looks like, you would realize how ridiculous this sounds.
In actuality, President Bush has used his powers to prevent, PREVENT, terror from being visited upon us again (remember 911)???
His administration has thwarted, by being very vigilant and taking it extremely seriously, thwarted many terror attacks either in the making, or right on the front burner. I assume you are 'pro stopping terror' in our country?
yes, and can you guess why that might be??Terrorism is just another ism that the gov't uses to defend militarism, and eventual dictatorship. First it was nazism, then communism, now its terrorism. Ask the people of muslims lands how they live in terror because of what president bush has done, and who he has supported. Just a few weeks back, Musharraf, whom is a puppet of bush, massacred many of his own people in the Lal Masjid. Why does he kill his own people? So the US can support him in the fight on terrorism. If we were concerned about terror, we'd cut ties to the saudis, pull out of Iraq, seek a equal peace process in Palestine, and so forth. You must remember that terrorism existed before 9/11, and the world didn't end then. However, people have a fear now, because of the constant usage of fear mongering, patriotism, etc to garnish support for anything the president does. His reign is one of terror. I am afraid to live in the country at times, because of the powers he has. He can now arrest and take away 5th freedom rights from anyone that disrupts the war process in Iraq, and that could include those that protest the war. Not only that, but the detainment camps that he authorized for use in "emergencies", the removal of habeas corpus, his ability to gain dictatorial powers in the case of a national emergency, and so much more has happened, and no one cares what it means, because we need our "security". Our security is taking away from our freedom. I'd rather live in a free society, with a small threat, then to live in a society where there is no freedom, and the threat is constant from your own government.

but age isnt 'just' a number, like pulling straws.....with age comes life experiences, learning from experiences, and maturity process. I know I am definately more mature now than I was at 20. Statements that compare America to Nazism shows imo a certain degree of lack of life experience and maturity. There is no way you can compare the two, and it's insulting to those of us who are Jewish esp to suggest that...President Bush you may disagree with but he is in no way shape or form comparable to Hitler or middle eastern fanatics.
I can see and admire you have a great deal of idealism...and nothing wrong with that..it's just that you also have to let your feet touch the ground, you need to be a bit more grounded in reality, because the quality of being idealistic lives next door to the quality of being unrealistic, or even delusional when it gets extreme. I tend to be that way, so that's how I know!
with some age and experience comes certain realizations
yes, and can you guess why that might be??
While i understand you are trying to say, it's not really true that if one has faith, then they will not be realistic.Realism is a lack of faith.
I was referring to why would one imagine that military would be necessary to avert terrorism?yes, and can you guess why that might be??
