if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.

We know that Catholics are full of their INTERPRETATION of the truth.
However it isn't about you, but about KNOWING GOD

Do you think there is more than one truth?

If not, then how do you explain all the contradictory doctrines taught by protestants?

Forget my last post, i misread your reply, i'll delete it

Consider this quote from Ignatius, who knew the apostle John, written in about 107 AD:

“You must all follow the bishop as Jesus Christ follows the Father, and the presbytery as you would the apostles. Reverence the deacons as you would the command of God. Let no one do anything of concern to the Church without the bishop. Let that be considered a valid Eucharist which is celebrated by the bishop, or by one whom he appoints. Wherever the bishop appears, let the people be there; just as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church. Nor is it permitted without the bishop either to baptize or to celebrate the agape; but whatever he approve, this too is pleasing to God, so that whatever is done will be secure and valid.” (St. Ignatius of Antioch, Bishop and Martyr; Letter to the Smyrneans § 8)

the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

I agree. That means listening to the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit WITHIN!

It does mean that but to clarify, we must follow the written instructions we are given as well. Jesus said the spirit would teach us if we keep his words. Those words include Paul's words, which are actually the Lords words spoken through Paul.

Popery doesn't have the truth. Just their carnal INTERPRETATION of what God revealed.
If Catholics were His sheep, then they would hear His voice and there would be no need to seek INTERPRETATION.

The saddest part is that they base their eternal life on popery's interpretation.

How dare they recommend following a man.
If Catholics were to follow Jesus, they would be in touch with the Father.

Thanks for showing how deceptive and carnal popery is!

I'm not twisting anything.

Please be open to the possibility that your interpretation is not flawless.

I think that the opinions of those who learned the gospel from the apostles can be very helpful when interpreting scripture.

I have debated scriptures with Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Baptists, Seventh Day Adventists, and even WOF posters.

I have read, prayed, struggled, cried, meditated and debated thoroughly, and im convinced that neither myself, the Pope, or any other man is flawless. However in all that, i learned the doctrine of Christ. IM confident that i need no other doctrine, no other teacher, and no denomination or movement.

All i need is to be a doer of the word.

Jesus told you to follow those he sent.

Why do you assume that you don't have to listen to him in this regard?

But Jesus wants us to be united as he and the Father are united.

How is that possible if we each get to make our own doctrine?

Those who are send preach a restored relationship with the Father.

Popery teaches; listen to me as we alone have the truth

Here's what the Catholic Church teaches:

PROLOGUE

"FATHER, . . . this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. God our Savior desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" - than the name of JESUS.

That is the opinion of obstinate goats.
His sheep hear His voice!

So you believe that Calvinists hear his voice?

Calvinists are wolves in sheep's clothing, as they don't preach a restored relationship with the Father, but think like Catholics that they have all the answers. The worst thing is that they appear like Christians!

Calvinists believe that the bible is the Word of God.

Why don't you agree with them?

Catholics think to be saved through the interpretation of popery.
That isn't being saved by Jesus, no matter how much the scriptures are twisted!
