Ok so, my dad helped us with the cost of sending my 3090 back to EVGA. It worked perfectly fine for about a week, then all of a sudden Saturday my computer started resetting randomly. Been testing my computer since Saturday and the problem just has been getting worse and worse. Posted all over the net for possible solutions and one idea stuck to me, bad PSU. So I tested it with my old PSU tester and my voltages were all under what they should be. Borrowed a multimeter from my dad and yup, it's a failing PSU.
To triple confirm my wife is using my 3090 and its working perfectly. So... I need a new PSU. And I'm just thinking to myself, why me? It's not even a 3 yr old PSU and it fails on me?
So I have three options now. One buy myself a new PSU and take my dog to the vet another time, two have Corsair send me one right away and they charge me for it but once they receive my bad box they take the charge off. Or three send it to corsair and wait 3 weeks.
I don't want to consider any other option. I've been without a computer since June. I want to talk to my online friends, do my missionary work, and just have my normal life again. I'm just complaining that buying a video card from EVGA was THE stupidest thing I could have ever done. But, I have to make the mistake to learn from it I guess.
