CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS Kirk and I are watching Criminal Minds and Spencer said something about someone never blinking and then Kirk started talking about how he was aware of all his blinking right now and now I'm aware of all my blinking
hahahaha that is awesome. I haven't watched the new episodes yet. Spencer is my favorite!!

IJWTS I just saw the announcement that Kisstheson passed away last month. I'm shocked, but happy for her. I didn't know her personally but remembered her artwork and posts. She was an inspiration.

IJWTS - I'd give my 12 year old a cell phone. *shrugs* I'd rather know I can get a hold of 'em whenever I need/want to.

Yeah that is true but if I did I would only give them a cell for phone calls though. I don't feel like it is needed for them to send an unlimited amount of texts all day long.

If it was my daughter, sure why not? My niece just turned 12 not too long ago and I actually bought her a cell phone. She has unlimited texting on her phone, it's a girl thing, y'know?

Aw, it was fine; I've been a pretty steady part of her life, she likens me to her Dad(her parents are married btw, just so there's no confusion) and I liken her to my little sister.
I've taught her how to play softball well, I was helping coach her team last year; she ... haha, I'm gettin' carried away.
Anyway, the 12th was easy to deal with I look forward to one of my very own someday, haha.
