I'm still getting an "I really don't know" answer from you. So I'm wondering how you can justify killing something that may be a person but you aren't sure. You can't just make up a definition and call it good.

Not quite. It means beyond human experience and knowledge. If you don't believe in God, how do you account for truths that are beyond human experience and knowledge? What is the source?Since transcendent simply means beyond human I'm thinking pretty much anywhere. What transcendent truth does God supposedly hold?

I will give you this....my wife or her unborn child.....my wife every time unless she say's otherwise. Not sure about the 50% stat....personally I believe it is far less than that unless God is really inept (IMHO). But why 12 weeks....what is so special about 12 weeks? Because a woman can feel movement at that time?....is there some religous significance? When does life become LIFE? And to be honest, I never think of a pregnacy as a fetus....only as a child.Many more fetus's are killed through natural abortion/miscarriage. In fact, 50% of pregnancies end in natural abortion.
I believe the women has a right to her own body, up to the point the fetus has not developed the ability to feel pain and or has any significant development. After 12 weeks, I have a problem with abortion, unless it is for medical reasons.
