1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

The commandments of God are those found in the Torah of Moshe(Moses) which are not a burden to us.

Again:
Deu 30:11 For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
Deu 30:12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
Deu 30:13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
Deu 30:14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

Murder was a sin in the garden after the fall no doubt. Before the fall, there is no evidence of any animal being killed.
Therefore, they would not have known what murder was.

There is no way that the 10 commandments were given to Adam before the fall.
Before sin came into the world, many of them would have made no sense to Adam or Eve.

Adam was told not to eat.

Abraham was commanded by God to circumcise his male offspring. Abraham kept that commandment as well as God's commandments to him to leave his home and go where God told him to go.

In order to get your Sabbath observance you have to force the Sinai covenant on Adam and Abraham, to make your doctrine work.

1Jn 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

1Jn 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

1Jn 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Therefore, they would not have known what murder was.

That is a wild guess. In Gen 3 they did not know what rebellion was by experience - yet in discussing the concept Eve is very accurate.

The notion that only by doing or watching evil - does one know what it is ... not merely from instruction -- is an idea that never worked in all of human history.

Gen 2:1-3 states clearly that the Sabbath was in existence before the fall and Ex 20:11 affirms it. So obvious is that Bible detail that even the majority of pro-sunday scholarhip admits to it - as noted in the prior posts.

Love for God includes keeping God's Commandments as we are told in 1John 5:1-4. Inseparable.

So in other words only the 10 are "God's Laws"

Not "only the ten" but according to 1Cor 7:19 and Eph 6:2 the moral law of God "includes the TEN" at the very least.

As for your argument about the Sabbath it falls on deaf ears here

For "some"

But as we saw with the C.H.Spurgeon and all those who affirm the "Baptist Confession of Faith" and as we saw with the "Westminster Confession of Faith" and as we saw with "Dies Domini" and as we saw with Matthew Henry and as we see with R.C. Sproul and as we saw with D.L. Moody and ... (it does not fall on "deaf ears" for a great many Christians EVEN among the pro-Sunday groups).

In the mean time - you have free will and nobody here is trying to argue otherwise.

Yeshua said:

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

In Revelations 21 we have:

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

& also in Isaiah 66:

Isa 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
Isa 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

For those who may believe the Torah was done away at the cross, we need to remember the words of Yeshua & that he told his followers, not even to let it come to mind that he came to do away with the Torah.

Most believe the Gentiles were not required to keep the Sabbath ect, but this is not true at all, seeing it was spoken of the Gentiles in saying:
Isa 56:6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
Isa 56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Isa 56:8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

Now in this verse: The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

Yeshua calls them thee other sheep in:
Joh 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

& again it speaks of this shepherd Yeshua in saying:
Eze 37:22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
Eze 37:23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
Eze 37:24 (And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.)

The way we walk in his (judgments & statues) is:
Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

& for this Paul concludes:
Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Thru out the book of Acts, we see the Disciples(Talmidim) of Yeshua keeping the Sabbath & Feast days.

We can even see the Gentiles keeping the Sabbath in:
Act_13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

So clearly Gentiles followers of Yeshua were keeping the Sabbath, & indeed its required for them.

Most verses in Acts, where the disciples of Yeshua were keeping the Sabbath day.

Paul's custom was to go into the synagogue on the Sabbath day: Acts 17:2

Yeshua had the same custom: Luke 4:16

We're to walk as Yeshua walked: 1 John 3:6

Acts 13:13 (NKJV) Now when Paul and his party set sail from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia; and John, departing from them, returned to Jerusalem. Acts 13:14 But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and sat down. Acts 13:15 And after the reading of the Law and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying, "Men [and] brethren, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, say on."

Shalom!

The Torah is the constitution of the Kingdom of YaHuWaH. Yeshua began His ministry by preaching repentance as John the Baptist had done.

Matthew 3:1-2: “In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, “Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”

Matthew 4:17: “From that time Yeshua began to preach and to say, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

As we can see there is no conflict between John the Baptizer and Yeshua’s message. Both came to bring restoration. Yeshua had to keep the Torah for He is the Word of YHWH made flesh. He did not come to change things and invent a new religion. Suddenly sin did not lose hits power in men’s lives, and man was not automatically forgiven because He would die on the cross. The commandments are to be kept, especially after our salvation experience because they keep us from sinning and becoming separated from our Creator, YHWH.

Psalm 40:7-10: “…behold, I come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me. I delight to do Your will, O my Elohim, and Your law is within my heart. I have proclaimed the good news of righteousness in the great assembly; Indeed, I do not restrain my lips, O YHWH, You Yourself know. I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your loving-kindness and Your truth from the great assembly.”

The above Scriptures reveal to us that the Torah would be within the heart of the Messiah. They are prophetic words given to King David long before the Messiah was born! The Scriptures declare: “I come in the scroll of the book is written of Me.” The Torah leads us to the Messiah. They proclaim Him, however many people ignore this fact and continue to teach their own denominational doctrine.

Everything He taught had to be according to the written Word. It is interesting to read the following passage from Malachi.

Malachi 4:4-6: “Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of YHWH. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”

It seems that disobedience to the Law of Moses still causes a curse! Yeshua came preaching repentance as John the Baptist did, who according to Yeshua was Elijah. I believe it means that he was a type of Elijah, for Elijah did not die.

2 Kings 2:11: “Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.”

Although I believe the two prophets will come before the second coming of the Messiah, and one of them being Elijah, for he did not die as yet, and it is appointed to each one of us to die once, according to the Scriptures.

Yeshua did not come to destroy the Torah, or commandments of the Father, but to give meaning to it, to fill what was missing. The word fulfill is in the Greek “plerosai” which means to make full. He came to give more understanding to the Torah, and to show that sin begins in our heart. In His teachings about adultery He simply says that a person just by thinking about committing adultery is guilty. That will leave very few people with a clean heart!

He teaches that the Torah is valid as long as heaven and earth still in existence, and certainly He did not come to destroy it, but to giving the full meaning to it.

Matthew 5:17-18, 28: “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.”

28: “But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

While Yeshua was alive the religious leaders could not execute anyone, for the Romans were in power. However, in the past they had to stone a women and a man if caught in the act of adultery. But they could not stone them if the man or woman only taught about it in their heart of committing adultery, for no one would see their heart! However, Yeshua made it more intense when He proclaimed that if someone sins in his heart in the eyes of YHWH he is already guilty of the fact. I have spoken about this in other messages; however, it is worthy talking about it again. Yeshua did not come to change Torah, but He basically disobeyed all the takanot and ma’asim of the Pharisees. In other words He reproved them for not keeping the commandments, but keeping their own rules and traditions. They kept the people from knowing the true teachings of the Torah, but insisted that they obey their own traditions. Many religious groups do the same thing today, those that live in Israel, in our own land here in America, and all over the world where those cults operate.

You may want to read Matthew 23 to begin with. However, as we read the gospels in the Renewed Covenant, we learn that Yeshua continually reproved the religious leaders who opposed Him for not keeping their traditions. This is something we need to understand: Yeshua did not come to start a new religion, but to confirm the Torah, for He is the manifestation of the Torah in the flesh.

John 1:1: “In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.’

John 17:17 “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your Word is truth.

The Word sanctifies us, without it we are outcast and have no part in His kingdom.

Shalom

We're no longer gentiles when joining to Yehowah but Israel, Natsarim/Nazarene of the WAY in which they called Heretic/Sect.

Once Gentiles

H1471
גֹּי גּוֹי
gôy gôy
go'ee, go'-ee
Apparently from the same root as H1465 (in the sense of massing); a foreign nation; hence a Gentile; also (figuratively) a troop of animals, or a flight of locusts: - Gentile, heathen, nation, people.
1482. ethnikos Cognate: 1482ethnikós(from 1484/éthnos, "nation") – Gentile; heathen, usually referring to non-Israelites; a pagan, a "non-covenant person," standing outside God's covenant (salvation). See 1484(ethnos).

Joe 3:17 So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

Isa 52:1 Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

Eph 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.

In a lot of Bible the head-line for Isaiah 56 is SALVATION OF THE GENTILES.

Here is what it says about the Gentiles who join themselves to the people of God.

Isa 56:1 Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
Isa 56:2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
Isa 56:6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

Like I said in my last article: Now in this verse: The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

As I clearly pointed out above Gentiles will not pass thru Jerusalem, speaking of the New Jerusalem, Gentiles in the strong's are Heathen nations not in covenant with the God of Israel Yehowah.
Paul speaks of the olive tree which Israel was called: in
Jer_11:16 The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.
Paul speaks of it in Romans 11.

Rom 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
Rom 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Rom 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
Rom 11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
Rom 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Rom 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Rom 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

In the Torah there are many things which would cut one off, the point here is that we who join ourselves to Yehowah, are no longer Gentiles/Heathen separated from the covenants of God, but are brought near by the blood of Yeshua, & are called to walk in obedience.
To call yourself a Gentile is not a good thing.

We're joined to Israel, whoever of the former Gentiles join to Yehowah, & keep his Sabbaths & hold to his covenants.

Eze 47:21 So shall ye divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel.
Eze 47:22 And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
Eze 47:23 And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.
There're only 12 gates, which will you go thru?

Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

Eph 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

Isa 56:6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

Like I said in my last article: Now in this verse: The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

As I clearly pointed out above Gentiles will not pass thru Jerusalem, speaking of the New Jerusalem, Gentiles in the strong's are Heathen nations not in covenant with the God of Israel Yehowah.

Rom 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
Rom 11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.

The Word says:
Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
