This post is a violation of the rules here I suggest you change it.We actually have to obey the Law to be saved too. If we don't be perfect like the Father then we will be condemned. We will keep the Law because we have to and because we want to if we are truly saved and want to be saved in the future coming of Christ the second time.
I'm against those who condemn those who aren't under its jurisdiction and demand compliance to it or salvation is forfeit.Btw, I'm not against the law of God. I'm against those who try to use it as a means of righteousness.
I'm slightly confused by your statement. Are you against me?I'm against those who condemn those who aren't under its jurisdiction and demand compliance to it or salvation is forfeit.
I've found those who promote the Law think very little of the ONLY council of Christians ever called in the New Testament and their findings. If they had recorded dozens of council meetings in the New Testament I could somewhat be more agreeable that it may be more towards trivial but the ONLY meeting to me means it was of the ABSOLUTE UTMOST IMPORTANCE and the edict was FINAL and ABSOLUTE and to ignore it and brush it aside shows contempt for Christianity as a whole.That's what the council in Jerusalem recorded in Acts 15 was all about, after all.
I'm agreeing with you, but in a more defined fashion.I'm slightly confused by your statement. Are you against me?
Because you said that Israel was not refered to as "gentiles". Israel was in the dispersion(lost israel) and many times throughout the scriptures they are called goyim. Peter also address them as such;why are you asking this question?
No problem..... with all the excessive garbage in posts here to sift through it is very easy to get crosseyed.Sorry, I reread and understood it.
I'm sorry but I don't think anyone is going to agree with the Idea that Israel is referred to as Gentiles when it comes to Christianity. One can either be a Gentile or part of Israel, not both.Because you said that Israel was not refered to as "gentiles". Israel was in the dispersion(lost israel) and many times throughout the scriptures they are called goyim. Peter also address them as such;
1Pe 1:1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
1Pe 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. However Peter calls them 'strangers'.
Romans 11 is talking about salvation, not citizenship in Israel. Please give me the verse that proves it is about citizenship if indeed it is.I wrote something refuting the mainstream understanding of this .
There are many places. But here is one: Romans 11. Another is when Paul calls the Church the Israel of God in
Galatians 6:16. What you adhere to is another myth called Darby Dispensationalism.
No, you are denying Christ by saying that law keeping is required for salvation.For me to recant this would be akin to denying Christ, taking the mark of the beast, and being a heretic. You have just denounced the entire early church as false teachers essentially and have said the site is in favor of the mystery of lawlessness, the great falling away, the lie. Do what you must. But I suggest if you take down the posts, block,or anything, you might as well just save me the trouble of closing my account here and do it for me because I'm not participating in this place anymore if people will not have their lies challenged but will enforce false dogma with antichrist law.
