Luke 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.'The Counter Culture [sic] of the Kingdom'
That was being said to the church around 20 years after it began you know. It's not an issue that started happening 300 years afterwards.James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Exactly but it didn't stop them from ignoring it later. That scripture applies to us since the fall and will til the final end of daysThat was being said to the church around 20 years after it began you know. It's not an issue that started happening 300 years afterwards.
Why would you expect a sound theological rebuttal to an unintelligible rant?Sound theological rebuttal on that one!
It's been an issue from the beginning, not something that began with a fall that supposedly took place 300 years later. The entire body of Christ hasn't been apostate for 1700 years. That's fringe nonsense.Exactly but it didn't stop them from ignoring it later. That scripture applies to us since the fall and will til the final end of days
The fall in the GardenIt's been an issue from the beginning, not something that began with a fall that supposedly took place 300 years later
No, those who follow the Gospel of the Kingdom have not rejoined the world of man like the gentile church did.The entire body of Christ hasn't been apostate for 1700 years.
No, you ranted that "Christianity existed in it's [sic] original form 300 years earlier before man took it upon themselves to find a way to rejoin the world of man and the adversary."The fall in the Garden
That's kooky fringe nonsense you let yourself get sucked into. Get off whatever website you're getting gobbledygook from and join an actual church. No, those who follow the Gospel of the Kingdom have not rejoined the world of man like the gentile church did.
No website needed. Jesus taught the Gospel of the Kingdom, hence so should have His church. They abandoned the Kingdom and returned to the world of man to partner in, then build their own empire in the image of other human empires. Has the church covered up their rebellion to the Kingdom, or repented of it?That's kooky fringe nonsense you let yourself get sucked into. Yet there is one:No website needed.

Not familiar with the works of others. People are quite capable of gleaning the Kingdom by themselves from scripture. That is why it becomes clearly evident the hypocrisy of those of a religion claiming to represent God would go against His will and rejoin the world of man. That traces to Dave Reese who was teaching it in the late 70s. Which is probably why you ended up mentioning discos.
I find it difficult to believe that you figured it out on your own without any outside influence, considering that you use the same jargon found on that website and in what's been posted by others on CF. And another example. Not familiar with the works of others. People are quite capable of gleaning the Kingdom by themselves from scripture. That is why it becomes clearly evident the hypocrisy of those of a religion claiming to represent God would go against His will and rejoin the world of man.
What is so hard about that? Jesus repeats it at least 72 times. Not His fault the church eventually took a different direction. But then what choice did they have, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom while cozying up with an empire of man would have exposed them for their hypocrisy.I find it difficult to believe that you figured it out on your own without any outside influence
And using the virtually the same exact jargon found on a website and posted by others? Unlikely.Every human is capable of coming up with the same conclusions as others.
And using the virtually the same exact jargon found on a website and posted by others? Unlikely.
However if you want to stick with you came up with it all on your own, that just makes it all the more likely that it's complete nonsense.
@Ordinary Christian perhaps this is a lesson about debating someone who is convinced that they are right no matter what you have to say. That's entirely up to you. I know better. Besides, I just repeat what is in scripture about the Kingdom. Anyone can do it. GN and enjoy your own path even if it was given to you.
I'm applauding you!Why would you expect a sound theological rebuttal to an unintelligible rant?
