Oh mine, how many times do I have to repeat that I said they claimed to be Christians.
No they did not!!!
It has nothing to do with if they really were true and good Christians.
Never said it did. They claimed no such thing.

You'll find it in some Jewish scriptures, but not in the Bible.

You're aware that the Jews have their own Orthodox Religion which is Judaism and have their own scriptures that is not the Bible and they are not Christians.
Ok, non-mosaic Jews, not the Jews who lived in Israel BC. Modern jews, that is.

You probably don’t read German or haven’t read accounts from those who lived at the time. The Nazis hated Christians, arrested some and called the Bible the book of lies.

The Nazis have their own canon set of scriptures.

It only included the Gospels. The Old Testament and Apostolic books are removed. They removed the Old Testament because they think it was used by the Pharisees and Zionist in nature.

Technically, it is not a Bible but simply Book of the Gospels.

The Bible has 66 books.

The Nazie "Bible" has only 4 books. So it really isn't a Bible...

Read for example my post # 9.

I never said they were true Christians. But they claimed to be Christians on many occasions and an average German identified himself as a Christian in that time.
Well, now you have reduced your claim to what "the average German" believed--which is not at all what the original allegation here was.

if swatizkas are a symbol of Hindu and Buddhist reincarnation, why do Nazi claim to be atheist or Christian? Maybe they were hoping to be reincarnated this into a person of color or A Jew or Muslim or illegal from Mexico.

It was seen as a "Aryan" symbol, the swastika was a fairly common symbol found in art, pottery, and engravings throughout parts of Europe and Asia. The Nazis claimed it to be an "Aryan" symbol and thus a symbol of a "pure" German "volk"--they subscribed to a number of crackpot theories and forms of quackery. The thing is that forms of the swastika can be found throughout various cultures over thousands of years, as a fairly symbol geometric shape it is doubtful that it ever meant one single thing across various and diverse cultures, but was probably very frequently simply used for aesthetic reasons. In fact, the symbol can be found in completely unrelated cultures that never would have been able to even be in contact with one another, for example among indigenous American cultures.

Clockwise as in Jainism or Nazism. Is related to habit, and towards the unconscious. Power of the Darkside.
Anti-Clockwise, in Buddhism. I would have said to greater consciousness. Although perhaps a false economy, as embracing paradox annihilates the person's being.

Nazism is the same result of trying to paint your own version of Christianity on your own beliefs kind of like what Marcion did and what Marcionism taught. Marcion only chose books that were addressed to Gentile audiences to form his New Testament Canon such as the Pauline epistles and the Gospel of Luke all of which he revised to conform to a completely hellenized or Gentile version of Christianity that was completely cut off from its Jewish roots mostly by removing any references to the Hebrew scriptures and traditions in the Gospel of Luke and the Pauline Epistles. Hitler wanted his own Christianity conforming to his views on how things should work.

A person can believe in reincarnation and not believe in God or a god ( atheism).
I learned that Hitler was neither an atheist nor a Christian but a panthiest ( that nature was his god). But take this with a grain of salt as I have never read anything of his firsthand.

The nazi swastika is kind of pointing in the opposite direction than the Hindu one. So it's really a symbol unto itself.

ultimatly all teachings and philosophies which deny The lord Jesus find a point of unification in the fact that they deny the Lordship of Jesus.
This is why the so called religious unification agenda is insidiously Evil

Here is a link with the story about the Swastika.

The Swastika - Its Ancient Origins and Modern (Mis)use - Norse Mythology for Smart People

I learned from a younger age that in noorse mythology it represents the sun god, later on Christians during the viking time when Christianity came in by force by the vikings, they actually used it as a cross. Or this is what I learned, a lot of the pagan symbols were Christianized. Not a good thing.

About the roman Catholic church during WWII they were supportive toward Hitler, many priests and pastors were told to remain supportive toward Hitler. Those who opposed against them would be imprisioned as well as possibly killed by the nazis.

As someone pointed out the swastika as an ancient symbol was widely in the early 20th century but was always (at least in the examples I have seen) straight and not tilted (or twisted one might say). In fact, there is a RC church in Cincinnati built in at the turn of the 20th century where the tiles create the classic swastika (Meaning not tilted). As of 2008 it was still the case. Furthermore it was also the insignia of the Finnish air force from 1918-1945.

As for the accusations of Christianity having influences are pretty tenuous at best. Hitler did at times profess to be a christian at least early in his career. By the time he had consolidated power any vestige of christianity left in the nazi party had been almost completely purged. There is the case of the German Christian Movement which is interesting. Basically it was a nazified and bastardized religion that claimed to be christian but disavowed the OT entirely, blamed the Jews for Christ's death, and adapted for aryan superiority and also had a high view of Luther's anti-semitic works. There is overlap with the Positive Christianity and its goals but I confess I am no expert in the field so I don't know how much overlap existed. I have a pastor friend who is working on his dissertation on this subject but is out of the country for a time. Ultimately the nazis had little use for a religion that claimed transcendent truth apart from the state as well as ethics that openly challenged their assumptions and goals. That is partly why they hated the Jews so much. So to say the nazis were christian is misleading because while it was possible at first to be a nazi and a christian it certainly wasn't the case after Hitler gave up any pretense to being friendly to Christianity. And by christian I mean the bare bones type that confess the Apostle's creed as the minimum standard of orthodoxy.

The Nazis were heavily inspired by Darwinism as is made plain in Hitler’s “Mien Kampf” but they also drew their inspiration from occultism and paganism as well which also included teachings from the religious beliefs of the nations of the east. According to Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the so-called Christianity of the Nazis became unrecognizable from the Christianity we read in the Bible because they sought to divorce Christianity from its Jewish roots.

What you have in Hitler’s Nazism was a combination of Darwinism, Socialism, paganism, occultism, and in the case of the Swatizka, elements of eastern mysticsm, but that is a history not widely known and yet should be.

Virtually all in this present generation would claim to reject Nazism but yet many continue to hold to some of their practices and continue their evil work: Socialism being an economic system implemented by the Nazis and abortion being the systematic slaughter of innocent lives because those whose lives are taken by abortion are being viewed as inferior to the rest of humanity which is no different than Hitler’s justification for eliminating peoples he deemed inferior and by the millions.

Real Christianity was weak, according to Hitler, and Jewish.

It might surprise many that Hitler secretly admired the Jews, according to his inner circle associates anyway.

HOWEVER, Hitler believes the real Jews are the Palestinians. And those who claim to be Jews are the fake ones and created an artificial religion to deceive many.

This is one reason why Hitler was friendly to the Arabs, another reason is he also admired the Islamic religion.

The article is as accurate as saying the KKK represented what (all) American christians thought since the Civil War. Pretty much same assumptions.

Reading what normal people who lived there at the time is vastly superior to an interpretation by someone who doesn’t understand christians living next store. I’ve yet to read an atheist who could describe what christians he talks to believe. I seriously doubt any can come close to what christians thought from a different culture and language 80 years ago.

It’s always easy to claim what people long dead felt, if you don’t read what they actually did.
