if swatizkas are a symbol of Hindu and Buddhist reincarnation, why do Nazi claim to be atheist or Christian? Maybe they were hoping to be reincarnated this into a person of color or A Jew or Muslim or illegal from Mexico.
The German Nazis in WWII were not Christians and did not claim to be such. Hitler, apparently, loved the Hindu symbol. It is a bit like thinking that the Chevrons on the uniforms of the US military mean the wearer is hoping to get his car filled up soon.

The Jews also believed in reincarnation...The irony.

Hitler's inner circle actually secretly admired the Jews in the Bible but doesn't believe they are the same people in modern times but are replaced over time by the Khazars (a non-Jewish Turkic tribe).

Hitler was rather convinced that the Palestinian people are the real Jews (forced to convert into Islam at some point in the past).

Oh and the Native Americans also have swastikas. They also believe in reincarnation. The religions that have swastikas in them seem closely related to the modern astronomy.

In the Book of Enoch which was once an ancient Jewish scripture they also have the "four winds" which may likely depict a swastika.

The "four winds" or swastika is actually a rough depiction or symbol of our galaxy of residence in the Universe. It takes highly advanced knowledge of astronomy or using advanced equipment (like we do) to realize this fact OR like Enoch, was taken for a trip by an angel so far away in space to actually see what our galaxy looks like from a great distance.

The center of our galaxy is indeed some sort of a "recycling hub" matter and energy gets recycled there at a very massive scale.

Of course, it's still wrong to use Swastika symbol for any reason. A galaxy is literally a "host of stars" or as in the Bible "the host of heaven", thus Swastika = Host of Heaven and we are not supposed to worship, nor idolize it!

Nazism was a mixture of occultism, Christianity, socialism and cult of a leader.

They did claim to be Christians, but in their own way. Most of them did not believe in reincarnation.
Naziism was not Christian, even if individual members of the party were.

Okay, but that is far from this:

Adolf Hitler used the term in article 24[a] of the 1920 Nazi Party Platform, stating: "the Party represents the standpoint of Positive Christianity"
Hitler identified himself as a Christian in a 12 April 1922 speech.[4] Hitler also identified himself as a Christian in Mein Kampf.

Adherents of positive Christianity argued that traditional Christianity emphasized the passive rather than the active aspects of Christ's life, stressing his miraculous birth, his suffering, his sacrifice on the cross and other-worldly redemption. They wanted to replace this doctrine with a "positive" emphasis on Christ as an active preacher, organizer and fighter who opposed the institutionalized Judaism of his day. At various points in the Nazi regime, attempts were made to replace conventional Christianity with its "positive" alternative.

Positive Christianity differed from mainstream Christianity in that positive Christianity:

  • Rejected the Jewish-written parts of the Bible (including the entire Old Testament)
  • Claimed "Aryanhood" and non-Jewishness for Christ
  • Promoted the political objective of national unity, to overcome confessional differences, to eliminate Catholicism, and to unite Protestantism into a single unitary positive Christian church[10]
  • Also encouraged followers to support the creation of an Aryan Homeland

Then you are referring to "Positive Christianity" rather than Christianity.

Yes. None of this is compatible with or associated with the Christian religion. It is, rather, a bastarization of Christianity in favor of a new and improved approach to the tenets of the Christian religion. Real Christianity was weak, according to Hitler, and Jewish.

Positive Christianity, so called, represents propaganda, an attempt--later abandoned by Hitler--to persuade German Christians that his beliefs were actually not incompatible with the religion they had grown up with. It was not an actual religion, but just a talking point.

They did claim to be Christian. We are not debating if they were the right ones or whether the positive Christianity is equal to catholic or protestant Christianity ;-)

They claimed to be Christian.
We've already explored that mistaken notion. There was no "they." You talk as though people could walk down the street and turn into the Catholic church building for Mass--or the Lutheran church instead--or that of the Positive Christian denomination. That's not true. It was just a short-lived theory propounded by political leaders for the purpose of misleading Christians and/or recruiting them to Nazi ideals.

They (the Party, Hitler, common nazi soldiers, para military groups like Volkssturm or Brown Shirts) claimed to be Christians, thats all .

Even in my small home town there is a church where a Nazi German preacher preached against Czechs. This church has been closed by the communist party afterwards and stayed closed till today, because of that. Its used as a town archive.

So I do not know what you are trying to invent here. Where are you even from?

The reply I am reading here doesn't even address the points I made. And I know for a fact that you cannot speak from personal experience.

You probably don’t read German or haven’t read accounts from those who lived at the time. The Nazis hated Christians, arrested some and called the Bible the book of lies.

Read for example my post # 9.

I never said they were true Christians. But they claimed to be Christians on many occasions and an average German identified himself as a Christian in that time.

I do not read German but I live in area called (by them) Sudetenland. So there are many historical things, books and memories around. Also by Christians of that era, passed to their children etc.

It’s the height of gullible to think Hitler was a Christian because he said so once or twice as though tyrants never lie.

How many books by Germans living at the time have you read? The Nazis did not and arrested Christians.

Memories of people who didn’t live in Germany during the war either, I assume. If a person grew up in Germantown, does that make them an expert on German history?

Oh mine, how many times do I have to repeat that I said they claimed to be Christians.

It has nothing to do with if they really were true and good Christians.

Where does the Bible day the Jews believed in reincarnation?

You'll find it in some Jewish scriptures, but not in the Bible.

You're aware that the Jews have their own Orthodox Religion which is Judaism and have their own scriptures that is not the Bible and they are not Christians?
