Why?
So is this going to be a discussion, or just silly jibes.

Why?
To stop sinning and become holy so you can be with Him without all sin exposed which will make you want to hide in the shadow. That's what Sadhu Sundhar Singh saw. People just fled from Him to darkness because He was too holy and the Light exposed all their sin. You can get rid of sin when you accept His offer.
You're the one claiming that it will make sense if one contemplates it as an infant might, so you tell me?So is this going to be a discussion, or just silly jibes.
Remember the cure analogy I made earlier... "I made you sick. But I can also make you well. This is what you have to do..."To stop sinning and become holy so you can be with Him without all sin exposed which will make you want to hide in the shadow. That's what Sadhu Sundhar Singh saw. A father who threatens his children with eternal torment if they disobey him is hardly a father deserving of respect.Actually, the context was to think of the reliance of an infant with their father. You are just derailing the thread to childlessness.
Clearly you are ignoring the distinction between disobedience and rejection, as pointed out.A father who threatens his children with eternal torment if they disobey him is hardly a father deserving of respect.
I don't really care for your meaningless distinction.Clearly you are ignoring the distinction between disobedience and rejection, as pointed out.

Interesting question, which brings to mind this question:
Did Jesus lie?
Thank you kindly.
Or could be; did the anonymous authors accurately portray what Jesus said or what Jesus did?
The follow-up comments were also about a father, any father. The comment was about a father, any father.
Clearly, well this thread was constructive to the point that it establishes many more biblical truths. I can see the futility of discussion.I don't really care for your meaningless distinction.
If I'm and Athiest and am not a bad person, will I go to hell?
Fair enough.
Is it likely that they would have portrayed what Jesus said and did accurately? It would be doubly tragic if they died for what they believed in and it was inaccurate or a farce whether they blatantly lied or were mis-led, would it not?
Thank you kindly.

‘Look, you scoffers, be astounded and perish; for I am doing a work in your days, a work that you will not believe, even if one tells it to you.’
"that they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit."
"People disagree with me! They're obviously too selfish and full of low motives to get what I'm saying."Clearly, well this thread was constructive to the point that it establishes many more biblical truths. I can see the futility of discussion.
