No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not everyone believes as you do. And still, even in those who do believe as you do, I wager that doubts still resurface from time to time.

It is true a lot of Gloom and Doom Preachers have twisted Christianity from what it was really meant to be.

Yes, the Bible preaches Hell, but it also says very little about Hell. Take the number of verses in the New Testament that talk about Hell and compare them to the number of verses that talk about Heaven, and you'll get a startling find; you'll see that far, far, far more verses talk about Heaven.

Why?

Well, the whole thing about Christianity, is that one is supposed to find peace and joy in Christ. Once one is saved, you needn't worry about Hell. It is a non-issue. Once a Christian is saved, they need only to partake of His Word, and let the Holy Spirit guide them in what they should be doing.

He will take care of the rest, and we are to rest in that fact, while doing His work on Earth, and waiting for His second coming.

There's supposed to be Joy and Peace in this. We're to seek Him because we love Him. We're to seek Him because we want this peace, joy, and everything that Heaven offers.

At the same time, there is a small warning of what might happen should we cling to our worldly things; worldly things will all vanish when we die. You're not taking anything with you past the time of your death, everything you did in this world of your own goals and pleasures will not mean anything at all once you die.

Gloom and Doom Preachers want people to flee the World and go to God because they will be thrown in Hell. While this is not false, per se, they are missing the point of Christianity altogether. Christ came to offer us rest from all of the laws and commandments that were included in the Mosaic Law, Christ came to offer us eternal security in Him in Heaven once we leave the Earth.

There's supposed to be peace and joy in this, not fear. And sadly, I think that's what breaks a lot of Christians who were once faithful, but decided to rebel. The idea that "YOU MUST OR YOU WILL GO TO HELL!!!" only makes them Rebel.

No, a better way to do it is, "If you follow God, awesome things will happen that you will love later."

And just as a footnote to what I said above...

I'm very much not lying about this. I've had a few dreams, just tiny little glimpses of this stuff, and said dreams were very much different than the rest of my dreams. There have only been two dreams in my entire life that had actual sound in them (when I talk to someone in a dream, I know what is said, but the sound isn't there), there's no sensation of touch, and there's no smell in most of my dreams either.

Anyways, when I get a dream from Him, the few that I have, will have one of these things in it, and the whole thing will just be... different, and set aside from the other dreams. I tend to remember them much more clearly, and the subjects and things in these dreams are not things that could have come from my own mind.

Well, two of these dreams were of Heaven and things that would be found there, one of them as a dream about me moving into a new house. Said house had rooms, and things in them that I had never seen before, and areas in the house that I couldn't discern what exactly they were for, or why they were there (I was wondering myself in the dream... 'why is this here like this?' ...).

The other dream involved a long winding road through pristine meadows and farmlands. The only thing about this dream, is that I was in some sort of incredibly fast vehicle that I could not see, myself or its controls. I felt the backward push of its acceleration, and I felt the sheer speed... upwards of 200-300MPH from my guesses, yet not a single bump in the road despite it being a dirt road. At first, someone else was driving it, and the second time I drove it... and wrecked it in a few seconds. However, there was no pain, no fear, we just tumbled around for several seconds, and righted and I remember laughing about it, and getting ready to try again when the dream ended.

These things I can tell you did not come from my own mind; I'm not even a fan of racing games or the like all that much, nor am I the outdoorsy type person to have conjured up meadows and farmlands, and that house I saw, as I said, had rooms in it I wasn't even sure what they were for. The house itself made sense structurally (it wasn't like those weird physics-defying optical illusion drawings), it's just some of the things in the house I couldn't understand their purpose for being there.

Based upon these, and dreams from other believers... yes... I believe that truly awesome things will be known by those who stay faithful. I follow God because I love Him first and foremost, and because I am genuinely curious about these awesome things he's shown me, lol. Each time he gives me a dream like this, I wake up feeling refreshed, even if I had terrible sleep that night; it makes me eagerly await the next dream like it.

Nobody can prove the existence of hell so no one should tell you that you are going there.

Hell is a spiritual place created for the souls of those who deny Jesus Christ as the Savior of mankind. The Bible says that there is only one way to heaven and it is thru Jesus Christ to God the Father....disbelief in his ministry and the fact that he died for all mankind to have eternal life with him spiritually in heaven is death. All will admit that there is a powerful force in the universe but few will admit that there is a God and that he is the creator of it all. I say this to you...the God that I serve is a loving God and is at spiritual war with wickedness, who only wants your soul to be saved...the ministry of Christ was focused on love healing and compassion, a ministry that Christians of today are trying to continue despite our imperfections. I will keep you in my prayers and hope to see you in Heaven, my friend. Be blessed.

Entering hell or heaven is not about being good or bad..its about holiness...you either acknowledge Christ and do as He instructed or you don't. Our thoughts on what 'good' is really has no merit. To say you do good and love others in itself tells you that God exists..because since God is love, you cannot even operate in 'doing good' without Him...so the question is why won't you acknowledge Him? because if you don't you don't have the capability to love anyone...We are asked to live holy lives..holy lives are Godly lives...whether you think you are athiest or not..you still have to answer for it in the end.

"If you willingly choose" to reject Jesus as your personal Savior, the answer is a sad yes. God is love but He is also just. If you reject Him in this life, He will not force nor drag you to spend eternity in His Heaven where He lives with His family, those that have chosen Him. Nevertheless, the good news is that if you abandon the religion of atheism and believe in Jesus, you don't have to spend eternity with Satan and his fallen angels.

As others have said, yes you will for all mankind is born with a sin nature and noone is perfect so it only by Christ that we can be holy or righteous. It is a case of God loving you so that if you dont believe in Him then after you die why would you want to be in heaven. We are all given a choice and I pray that you will make the right one. Let me ask, if you would believe and accept Christ and you were wrong what is the worst that would happen. However if you dont and your wrong then we know what will happen. Why take that chance?
