This is not true and the transgender issue is far more complicated than a boy or girl say they want to be the opposite sex. There is a process which a student has to go through in order to change the sex which is on their school records. Someone under 18 cannot request the change. It must come from a parent or guardian and then a hearing must be held to review the evidence which the student provides.

And if you check on the actual law you will see the requirements which a person must go through in order to establish their sexual identity. No law can force a girl to shower with a person whose physical sex is not their match.
