I'm not sure how to work the quote system as well as you, so bear with me.
Quite all right.
"Trump hasn't shown any Christian values"
- I'll give an example of one. After the Orlando shooting at that gay clubhouse Trump spoke friendly to the gays and criticized the Islamic terrorists for killing people strictly for their beliefs.
"Speaking friendly to the gays" isn't going to win him any points with the Christians under normal circumstances. Besides, a few "thought and prayers" (and little else) after a bloodbath do little to compensate for the anti-LGBT policies he set in motion.
"I'm not giving a reason because it's self-evident"
- Well, I thought so about why the article I linked to about the unemployment rates, but someone asked me to quote the part I thought was relevant, and I did. Obviously it's not self evident if someone has to ask for it.
The same unemployment rates which were steadily declining since before he took office?
"Border patrol expanded refuted"
- Yes, I corrected myself as I meant to say Trump put in plans to increase the number of agents by at least 5,000.
Odd, considering he's also enacted a complete hiring freeze for federal employees...
"Sanctuary city fund cutting unconstitutional"
- I don't believe it's been fully resolved yet.
True, Donald still has the appeals process available to him, as for any other American, but I must say, he doesn't seem to have much of a Constitutional leg to stand on.
The power of the purse is under the control of the Legislative branch... that's why Donald doesn't get a wall unless and until Congress includes it in the budget. In the case of sanctuary cities/states, those federal funds were already introduced, debated, voted on, and approved
by Congress. Once Congress approves funding for something,
only Congress can rescind it.
Donald
could have petitioned Congress to change their minds, which would've led to a new resolution to be voted on... which would have probably failed. Instead, he tried to overstep his COnstitutional authority via executive order... and got stopped.
"Asking government leaders to fight home grown terrorism"
- You seem to think him meeting with the middle-eastern leaders and them agreeing to do so is meaningless.
I am a firm believer in the "talk is cheap" school of thought.
Well, the Crown Prince recently saying they'll fight terrorism until it's eradicated because he won't allow them to distort their "peaceful" religion and placing an embargo on Qatar for supporting terrorism isn't exactly nothing.
Saudi Prince: Coalition will fight terrorism until it's eradicated - CNN
Just so we're clear, this is the same Crown prince who recently rooted out scores of "corrupt" government officials and replaced them with... himself, right?
"Trump didn't ban all countries with terrorists"
- He can only do so much and get away with it, but he did put travel restrictions on the 7 countries the Obama administration listed as being terrorist hot spots, and Saudi Arabia wasn't on it.
fair enough -- but remember those two big buildings in lower Manhattan? Remember the guys who took them down? What country were they from again?
