I remember when there were only 3 TV channels. Four if you count PBS, but nobody watched PBS, lol.

That was weird, lol. We had a local Friday night horror movie show. Didn't have a host, but had a cool intro.

I got my first fishing reel and rod that way a Zebco 33

We had Friday nite horror films after the late news, too!
"Shock Theater" with Ghoulardi ...

I still have this dictionary mom "bought" me with green stamps. Great dictionary. It's massive. Laying on a table it's like 4 inches tall.

Our cities park system had a great summer program and i spent many days at the park, playing tether ball, box hockey, kickball, baseball, softball ping pong, etc...
