i really wouldn't make my mind up yet which way she's going to go. yes be prepared for if she decides to turn you down but don't assume she will. Only she and God knows which way she'll go. Its anybody's guess at this point

Don't be too hard on yourself. As already posted above, have a definite plan when you ask her out. Women supposedly love a man with a plan. And also as was said, with a definite date/time, you could tell pretty quickly if a "sorry, busy" means "no". She probably didn't know if you meant Taco Bell or a 4-star restaurant.

Compliments? Dunno. I will compliment a woman if I sincerely mean it, but I don't get too personal too quickly. Noticing a new haircut or saying her dress is pretty is a lot different than saying she's got hot legs that go up to yar... And maybe that's a new thread...

It might be different at different ages, but I disagree. If I don't have my calendar with me and somebody mentions doing something on a certain day, I don't always know if I have a conflict or not. So I have said sincerely, "I'll get back to you."

thanks guys..... yeah... I think I'm pretty much doomed to live my life alone. My inexpreince is the biggest stumbling block I've ever had to hurdle over. I blame the youth group I used to attend for teaching me that purety is a GOOD thing.

Dude. Find something that you really like to do that has members of both sexes involved in the activity. (I am not talking about rounding up hookers.) Go do it and enjoy yourself. Yeah but one bad experience with ONE girl doesn't mean that all women are like that. You're judging the whole batch by one bad apple. I'm sure there's a saying like that

Lots of guys have experienced what you have. And honestly, I think you may have come on a little too strong. Had you been a little more subtle, your chances of success would have been greater.

Either way, just because you ask someone out doesn't mean they're obliged to say yes. It's not like you're doing her a favor or anything.

DUDE! What did I say about being nice to yourself? There's like 7 things in this post that I counted. I can only imagine you say about 100 bad things to yourself every day at this rate. The first step is to completely give your attitude a total makeover. ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING. RESULTS FOLLOW ATTITUDE. Not the other way around. You keep thinking that once you get women, your attitude will change. But dude, I say unto you, it is the opposite.

You might be somewhat assertive with women, but you're downright brutal with yourself. But banging your head against the wall only makes people dumber.
