John 14:21:
Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”
This is a great passage, a great and precious promise. This apparently happened to you and I believe to me. He makes His presence known to us in various ways and leads us to the Truth...His commands. However, you added..."and miracles would follow". This passage doesn't say miracles will follow.
Mark 16:17:
And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
This Jesus spoke after His resurrection when He gave His disciples/apostles the great commission, which is:
Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
The point here is context. These apostles went out into the world as witnesses of Jesus and God gave them power to perform miracles as a testimony that they spoke from God and not for themselves.
Your problem is you had dabbled in witchcraft which is power of Satan and not of God. Now if you are truly sorry for this sin you should want to run from all such "powers" . I know you say you have and I believe you, but you need to be very certain that Satan isn't still up to his tricks in you and that is why I said to ignore all these miracles. God will bless you and speak to you through His Word and lead you through that Word alone. Do you think something bad will happen or something if you follow His command which is to read and follow the Word? Why would He cast you away? I fear there is still a bit of a mixed spirit in you and you should too. Err on the safe side, be conservative and extra careful in these matters. Your sin of witchcraft is so serious and you should want to clear yourself of the matter by being extra careful and not to say I know better...clearly you do not.
I love and respect you and want the best for you and that is why I speak the truth to you as I see it.
I want to say say this with as much love as I can, and I hope that you take it the right way. You seem to think that this is some kind of argument, and you clearly just want to win it. You don't seem to be listening to what I'm saying any longer and an argument is not what I came here looking for. You need to calm down and think about this biblically.
I wrote that post really late last night as I was going to sleep. There are a lot of other passages that explains how much God will do for those who love Him, and it's not an uncommon thing for Christians to experience His love supernaturally.
I 100% trust the Lord on this, because He is in control, not me. No one can limit Him, and we shouldn't do so out of fear.
My sin of witchcraft is something I did 10-15 years ago. I quit because it didn't feel right. It's something I know a lot about, and I would never, ever touch it again. Trust me, I'm careful. If I started seeing auras or listening to voices again (I do hear them, but ignore them), then there would be a need for concern. You should study what witchcraft is, biblically, and in other religions, before trying to speak about it, because it isn't what you think. It has to do with trying to control and manipulate other people or situations, seeking divination from other sources than God, trying to force God or nature to act by your will etc. It is the opposite of allowing God's will to rule your life.
My sin today isn't witchcraft, because I'm living my life surrendered to God. My sin is fear. I have an irrational fear that I will lose God, because everyone in my life have always abandoned me and hurt me. I know that it isn't true, which He is always proving to me, and which He just proved to me again, by people pointing me to Daniel. So He is caring for me and leading me into all of His Truths.
You need to try to calm down your own fears (and maybe there is some pride there too), and try to start trusting God a lot more. And be happy that I got my answer.
He really does work miracles today. You should be very happy about this. Praise and thank the Lord for helping me!
