Evolution is also testable. One of the big tests the discovery of genetics and the confirmation of the fossil evidence relative to the genetic evidence.

In the short term, yes. However, there are minute changes from generation to generation, so given enough generations, those small changes can accumulate and arise in large scale changes. To illustrate this point, I created this handy-dandy visual aid. In the short term "generations", the changes are so minute they are hardly visible. Yet, over an accumulation of generations, the changes are more apparent.

Thank you for your visual aid, but it does little to help your case. You calim that the changes are so minute, that it is impossible to see evolution on a big-scale in our life time. Well, in order to suppoert this theory, you have to show at least some examples of how anamolies in the DNA can produce at least a slightly new and improved anatomical structure. Can you?

I think a bulk of the problem is trying to conceptualize evolution relative to human life spans. However, it doesn't work, because there are too few changes over small numbers of generations for the effects of evolution to be readily apparent. Hence, you have creationists appeal to the idea that the same "kind" of animal will always produce the same "kind" of animal as offspring, because that is what people are used to seeing relative to their own lifespans.

Almost all of the minute changes we see in organisms are detrimental to it. They are a far cry from evolution of the microbes to man sort. Change = evolution, but change does not = the theory of evolution proven by any means.

Actually, observation shows that life evolves. Again, however, the changes relative to human lifespans are too small to produce signfigant changes that allows one to classify such changes as from one "type" of animal to another. There is nothing, however, preventing such change given enough generations.

Observation shows that things devolve, more or less.

Treating Genesis as a metaphorical message designed to convey a theogical truth to a largely scientific ignorant population (remember when Genesis was written and the audience at the time) is not the same as calling God a liar.

But if you think so, then I suggest you spend some time discussing Biblical interpretations with Christians who think differently than you, rather than simply falling back on a bunch of ignorant presumptions.
