  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have been converted, I no longer buy evolution

lol. First of all, creationists need to stop confusing the theory of Evolution with the word evolve, which we apply to much more usages in todays language.

The universe 'evolving' has nothing to do with the theory of evolution. I've seen some pretty rediculous creationist claims talking about how the ToE doesn't explain the origin of the universe and therefore is false. ^_^
People with no understanding of the ToE + saying the ToE is wrong = Hilarious.

Also; "micro-evolution is the only one that has been observed and tested".
Is this guy serious or what? Has he never heared of genetics, fossils, comparative anatomy, physiology and biochemistry, geographical distribution and so forth, and so forth.

Besides, the idea that micro-evolution can't become macro-evolution over millions of years has absolutely no shred of evidence.

I have a good idea that Eric, like Kent, knows very well what he's doing (notice how many times he uses, "____ is the origin of ___ .") and knows there are people out there who are ignorant and gullible enough to buy it, and most importantly, send in their dollars.

Ok... aside from the obvious flaws.... am I the only one that noticed that he was saying that the other forms of evolution aren't science because they haven't been observed... and yet the logo on the website actually says "creation science"?

lol evolving does not always have to do with the Theory of Evolution. The theory of evolution only makes sense logically.... Over time, a certain species changes through adaptation. Since not every bird will be born exactly the same, certain ones will have traits that allow it to live longer than others. Therefore, the ones with the traits that allow them to live longer reproduce more than those without these traits. It makes perfect sense. There are gaps, but to be honest there's more evidence for the Theory of Evolution than the Creationist "theory".

Haha I can't stand when any Christian says, in the Bible it says "God created" and that's all I need to know. To be honest if thousands of years ago someone wrote a book about worshipping a bowl of pasta, to this day certain people would think it's okay to worship spaghetti.

Guess i'd agree moslty tho not that evolution has "more" evidence than creatinism, since evo has a great deal, and creo has exactly zero (0).
Its faith based; if you like the bible story, then, that is what you believe.
