CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You probably missed the point... I dont actually beleive your claim.
There are two in the list that I dont even have to check, I already know their work. If you dont want to find them, fine.

Nor I yours. The signed statement said nothing about the age of the Earth, and the list of "geologists" was sloppy and flawed with errors.
As you said before; checking them all would be a waste of my time, I just took a quick peek, and found seven inconsistencies (Six OECs, and a non-Geologist) with your initial assertion in less than ten minutes of looking. I'm not the one making positive claims about their position on the age of the Earth... You Are.
Look, I'm really sorry that you cannot manage to scrape together a handful of people with geology PhDs who are YECs, and you are right; it is largely a waste of your time to do so, also. The next step is the dozy, and you aren't ready for the follow up; because even if they do assert such notions, they don't actually do anything practical with them.
Creationism, be it astronomical, biological or geological, accomplishes nothing in terms of solving mundane, material problems for mankind. Science does. I know you're probably sore on science because it does such an amazing job of one-upping Biblical miracles, but you'll just have to either get over that, or put a helmet on, get in the game, and show how Creationism can be utilized to do something.
