Ok i think some of you got the wrong idea. I do not actually believe in hell or your god or any god

I doubt anyone who read your first post thought you believed in any deity.

i was curious to see if you think somebody like me would go to hell just because I refuse to give my life
It's not your life to give. God owns you just as He owns each and every one of us. We are the created He is the Creator.

to a murderous, self righteous bully and refuse to adopt any religion because every single religion is extremly flawed in logic, reason and human rights and science
We're not talking about any religion we're talking about Christianity. And you've made some pretty potent claims about it being flawed in logic, reason, human rights, and science. The impetus is on you to prove those flaws. As the saying goes, "the floor is all yours."

and Because i believe in gay rights and at the end of the day they are people not "Demonically possessed" and evil as you like to perceive them to be.
Based on this alone I'd say you have absolutely no concept of what Christianity is, or what we believe. I don't know what idiot taught you Christian's beliefs concerning gays but it couldn't be more wrong if you tried.

So far im just dissapointed in the whole "Yes you are but not if you repent".
It's a complete and accurate answer. Why would it disappoint you?

And god has a funny way of converting people like you LOL
We all come to the beck and call of the Lord according to His plan. Conversion is the greatest work of God, bar none. There is nothing more astounding than God changing a heart from being ignorant, spiteful, and God-hating in the twinkling of an eye.

let me tell you something, in a completely parralel universe if god did exist
Don't know about parallel universes but in this one He is very much real

and i died and faced him before my judgement, i'd rather go to hell and burn for eternity and live in anguish and fear, and being tortured and raped by demons then give myself to a ^^ see paragraph one. I would spit in his face.
No, you will not. You will say nothing and do nothing. Your knees will bow and you will give honor and glory to Him who is due that honor and glory. You will look at your life and who you are in absolute horror and despair because at that moment you will no longer compare yourself to other people of the world, but rather to a Holy and righteous God. And you will see how far short of what you were created for you have fallen.

What gives him the right to determine whats evil and whats not?
Being God apparently has some perks.

he even goes against his 10 commandments. Hes a murderer. He murdered all the first born sons in egypt, flooded the earth drowning people for his own mistakes, animals, EVEN BABYS, BABYS DROWNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111
The plagues visited upon the Egyptians were a foreshadowing of the redemptive work of Christ. The death of the first born sons points the way to the death of the first born over all creation, Jesus Christ as punishment for the sins of the world.

Do you like the idea of a baby drowning? gargling and trying to scream but cant and water filling up in its lungs, horrible way to die, can you imagine a baby trying to comprehend the suffering its going through?
Have no fear, the babies who died are in the presence of the eternal God enjoying eternal fellowship with their Creator.

He destroyed the citys sodom and gommorah and killed everybody (including children, women, innocent men) because apparently the large majority was evil.
Because everyone who lived there was evil. There was no one who was found to be righteous in either of those cities. Those He spared (Lot and his family) were spared for the sake of God's friend Abraham.

He is sexist, racist (the jews are his chosen people), and a homophobe.
Again the floor is yours. You have made the claim now prove that God is sexist and racist. Shouldn't be too hard to do, or you would have never said it. Right?

As far as being homophobic, do you even know who the Biblical Jews are?

Anybody he does not like or goes against him he wants destroyed or wiped out. this god guy sounds like a pathetic little crusader who has tantrums and has to convince people to worship him for a eternity reward or eternity punishemnt. He likes to spit his dummy out the pram.
Huh?

I love Animals, Respect people, Respect the world and the universe, i always offer assistance to people in need, i beleive the human race is equal and all deserve human rights, the right to education, free speach and freedom of religion. I donate to charity, if i see a homeless person i'll drop him a pound or 2. I generally love people and animals, Im virtually pacifist, would only resort to reasonable violence to protect myself, family and other people. I consider myself a good person.

(THIS PART YOU MIGHT FIND OFFENSIVE, I HOPE NOT, BUT I PREFER TO WARN)

Im am a Athiest. I support stem cell research. I beleive women have the right to abort. I believe in gay rights. I dislike christianity ( i dont dislike christians, but i dislike your religion aswell as many others ), and think your God is evil, sadistic, hypocritcal, destructive, no remorse, war monger, homophobic and just as evil if not more than your devil is.

QUESTION!

Am i going to hell?

CHALLENGE!!!!

Its a yes or no answer. No metaphors, No bible versus, no "Well but, no but, yeah but". Yes or No. I wont be offended if you say yes, im sure some of you will take joy in saying yes though. No beating around the bush, get straight to it my friends!! :p

Your actions whether you deem them Good or bad have little impact on whether you goto Heaven or Hell. The only determining factor is whether or not you have accepted Jesus Christ. Since I believe that most atheist have a standing order for firm non belief in God/Christ, I would assume Yes you are going to Hell, but then again if you did not believe in God then why believe in an after life? So who else would know? That is a question you will have to answer yourself.

We are commanded to not say of those that will be saved and of those who will not be saved (to judge others). That is plain and simple. If you know and understand Jesus' Good News and have come to receive and accept it with the Holy Spirit and then rejected it all, there is little hope. If you have not accepted Jesus or been convicted of his truth, then you have hope for your future possible conversion. If you rejected Christ's Gospel without really understanding it then you have hope of a better judgment than blasphemers who once have accepted Christ & the Holy Spirit then only to reject them. Your hope is greater then a blasphemer who once knew Christ, but is it enough to know your salvation?, "no". To know salvation is to have his hope and promise working in you, work out our salvation in fear and trembling. So, is fear and trembling a part of salvation, it seems so, such that honesty, sincerity and compassion must be to such a degree as to allow us to see the daylight of our salvation.

Seeking your condemnation from Christianity as a religion isn't accurate knowledge of those of faith in Christ Jesus. The weakness of the weak in faith isn't really evidence of a weak link in the chain of salvation, if so, then we as a country are only as strong as our weakest citizens (which makes no sense). Instead seek-out the wisdom of a chaos existence verus one that has a plan & purpose.

Yup. Anyone who rebels against God and dies in such a state is seperated from Him eternally. But this shouldn't be a bother to you, right? God doesn't exist so there's nothing to worry about. Of course, one wonders why, in light of your atheism, you care enough to inquire about your eternal fate...

See above.

Having answered your question straight up I'd like to make a few oservations about your self-description.

1. How does someone who believes "all deserve human rights" rationalize excluding unborn babies? I mean, you're pro-choice, right? Which means, I guess, that so long as a child is dependent upon its mother for survival it can be killed (which would include children up to the age of four at least)? Your thinking here seems rather contradictory (and obscene) to me...

2. You say you agree with the right to freedom of religion and then bash the Christian faith and its God. Again, this seems rather inconsistent to me...

3. You say you're a pacifist, but that doesn't extend to your words, it seems. There is nothing pacifistic about the verbal savaging of God you have made in this thread. Moreover, you seem not the slightest bit aware of how cartoonish and bizarre your characterization of the God of the Bible actually is. You're arguing a Strawman and don't seem even to know it.

4. You say you're a "good person" but then demonstrate a profound intolerance and animosity toward the Chrisitian God, homophobes, and various unnamed religions. It seems your "goodness" has very distinct limits and is quickly abandoned when confronted with that with which you disagree.

Selah.

YOU ARE NOT DEAD YET!

So I can not say YES or NO.

People dislike Christianity because they see most Christians don't live by faith in God. And people dislike God because they are frustrated with the evil things happening here on earth. And because God is not answering maybe their prayers.

Friend, your life has not yet ended. If you continue in the same situation, I can say YES. But if you've changed I can say NO.

I'm not doing this to take the mickey, but I just want to demonstrate how difficult a few general self-describing sentences makes it to judge where a person goes in the afterlife.

I think you would agree that a magistrate or jury that is deciding whether a defendant should go to jail or walk free should take the time to examine every bit of testimony of the defendant.

So let's say you're the defendant, and you've invited me/us as the jury to decide whether you are guilty. If I take up the challenge to decide your fate you should therefore answer my further probing questions to help me decide.

1. When you say you "love animals", can you please describe what that means? What do you mean by "animals"? Which kingdoms, or species or geni do you consider to be animals? Are bacteria animal? Does it mean that you are vegetarian? Do you use products that have been tested on animals? Are you against animal experimentation? Are you against zoos? Might it mean that you are part of a militant animal rights group?

2. When you say you "respect people, the world and the universe", what do you mean? Who are people? What is the world? What is the universe? What do you mean by "respect"? In the mean streets of Britain a "lack of respect" could get you knifed in the kidneys. What is respect? What have you done to show that you respect each item you have mentioned? I'm particularly curious in how you may respect the universe - e.g. a planet. How do you respect a planet like Mars?

3. You say you "always offer assistance to people in need", and you mentioned that you donate to charity and drop the homeless a pound or two. How do you define "people in need"? Everyone is always in need of something or another. Do you conduct a sort of means-test to decide where to divert your resources? What sort of assistance do you offer? Do you volunteer? Do you ever consider whether dropping the homeless a pound or two is enough to assist them?

4. You say that you believe that all human race is equal and deserve "all human rights", and you list a few, such as right to education and freedom of religion and free speech. Will you please define what "all" human rights are? Communists believe that the state has an obligation to provide each and every adult citizen with a job - the right of work. Do you think that all states should provide that? Should there be an age limit to the right of education (assumed to be provided by the state)? 5? 16? 18? 99? How should the state fund such rights? When you say you support free speech, do you mean that hate speech against minorities should be tolerated too?

5. You say that you are "virtually pacifist", and would only use violence in self-defence. Have you in fact ever used violence for self-defence? On a more macro-scale, do you support, then, NATO's intervention in Libya? Or, to go back into history, the British declaration of war against Nazi Germany?

6. You say you support stem cell research. Will you support it if it uses taxpayers' money? Given limited resources, will you support stem cell research above and over other forms of treatment or scientific exploration?

7. You say you believe that women have the right to abort. Is that under all circumstances? Will you put an age limit to when the baby may be aborted? The current UK legal limit is 24 weeks. Do you support that, or would you change it?

8. You say you believe in "gay rights". What do you mean by "gay" rights? What rights are inherently "gay"? Do you mean that gay people should have more rights than "straights", or equal rights? This goes back to point 4. Where do you draw your limits on "rights"?

If you have read up until this point, well done. You've asked me to judge your eternal position, and obviously I would want to make a very serious judgement about it. So it would be most helpful if you could answer those questions (and much more later) to help me judge.

Thanks.

I agree with everything here accept that you are an atheist and if by 'your God' you mean the the idea of God the writters of the Old Testament had.

Am i going to hell?

Honestly I don't know. I don't know enough about you.

I'll say 'no' to complete your challenge though.

If you be good and not only act good I would be more happy saying 'no'.

I think there can be ex-christians. but they have to commit blasphemy against the holy spirit.

question: do you believe that once saved your name is written in the book of life and your name is erased from the books of works? if yes, then read the beginning of revelations. The lord rebuked the churches and said to return and do the first work (they changed their faiths in some way) or that he will blot their name out of the book of life. In essence, they would be an ex christian.

Psalm 51:11
Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.

^ That would be the worst thing that could happen to anyone

It is not according to our will if we have or do not have the holy spirit, you can be saved and he can take his spirit from you as well. So yes ephesians 1 says you're sealed with the holy spirit you are guaranteed. If you break that seal, you will do the wineskins parable. you will burst and the end will be ruined

This isn't a yes or no question, therefore it doesn't have a yes or no answer. Whether or not you are going to hell isn't something I or any other person on this planet can say, and I would argue that anyone who says they can say has a really lousy theology.

Not only can I not tell you whether or not you are going to hell, I can't tell you the same about myself. That is, will I go to hell? That's not something I can answer, that's in the field of God's knowledge, not yours, mine or anyone else.

As some extra stuff to add:

Not all Christians oppose women's reproductive rights, or oppose the legalization of gay marriage or oppose stem cell research. These are not universal, monolithic positions within Christianity. There is a diversity of positions on topics such as these within Christianity based on numerous factors that play into real world ethics.

Not every Christian is a Fundamentalist. Some of us take our faith more seriously than that.

The amount of contradictions within your OP is astounding.

And I can tell by your posts you have a very poor understanding of Christianity and theology in general. Not to mention the obvious illogic of ignoring the risk vs reward in this situation.

And if I had to guess, yes indeed you are. But noone knows for sure.

Ok folks this is not a debate forum and only believers and the OP can post in any thread in this forum. If you are an unbeliever and would like to ask questions then please start your own thread in this forum. I am deleting ALL non Christian posts in this thread so if your post disappeared then you know what happened.
