I know my brothers and sisters in Christ. This is a love you don't know. So yes, being an atheist has everything to do with this philosophy of yours. My philosophy would NEVER allow me to take someone who is obviously hurting in the Faith (or anything else) and tell them that their life was a mess first and they just missed that part, so really their efforts were in vain. Fortunately my Sister here still has enough conviction to shake that off, but its a pretty hearltess thing for you to do.
On the other hand I would tell her that she walked out of God's protection and felt that, yet He is still within reach. So this is evidence for what you say does not exist, and further, she has already stated that her own experience validates what I'm saying, rather than your creed.
Aaaaand that's a wrap![]()

Btw, rather than praying for people, or ushering them to a church, I try to actually fix their problems directly. I give advice, help out if I can, and no promise of a good afterlife or reward motivates me.
