Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I have been there too. I use to be a cutter. I did it when I disapointed people, when I hurt them or angered them. I did it when I just wanted to feel better then the pain I was going through. It was hard for me to stop. I told no one and felt all alone.
I wasn't alone though, I had God, nothing and no one could compare to him.
I wanted to stop so bad so finally I got a note book, a pretty journal like one and every time I felt like cutting myself I wrote instead in red ink in my book. I wrote every feeling, every fear, every prayer down every time I felt the feeling to cut and slowly I began to write instead of cut.
I am praying for you. Just remember that no feeling is worth hurting ourselves over.
Find some thing possitive, some thing you enjoy to replace your cutting. Remember, I am praying for you.:prayer:

God loves you girl as so do we. Some odd reason you are cutting yourself to either punish yourself, to make you feel, or some other reason. Here are a few suggestions when you get frustrated...1...start a journal...write all your feelings down, and go back later and look at what you wrote, go back a week, a month a year you'd be surprised at how much your feelings change. 2. when you want to cut punch a pillow, I know it sounds goofy but it is a healthier way of letting go of your frustration...let me know how this works? I will be lifting you up in prayer. and if you want to talk PM me ok

I know it needs to stop but how? Its just a way to get out all my frustrations!! I can only stop with God's help and prayer! I just hope I can quit.:(

As the Nike ad says --- Just Do It!! (quit, that is).

I have the same problem with alcohol. And that is a lot less painful than cutting, although the scars are just as deep and lasting.

If you can listen to the voice of God (and I try to do so daily), you will find a way out of the ditch that you are in, just like I did. :)

yeah its hard...I havent cut myself all weekend!!!
Thats awesome!
I haven't read the entire thread but your father in heave sure doesn't prefer your body scarred up like that. It doesn't ease your pain either but just adds to it somehow. Commit things to him 'cos he cares for you.
Praying that God will give you the grace to overcome all of this, in Jesus name we pray, amen.

Father it sounds deeper then claimed here, but hey you can do above and beyound what ever I say. So, Father in Jesus name I ask you to reach out to this child in the blood of Christ to stop this defilement of your Holy temple. Yep it's your skin and your home, which I ask you to put a wall around this child as to this cutting junk. Thanks Lord for answer'n this prayer of mine for this child in Jesus name Ament.

I pray that you will find the strength to speak with someone about this who can help you . God works through professionals he puts in our lives. Please explore the community, speak to another adult who can guide you to a professional as strong in their faith as you, who can help you. I will pray you are able to do this.
