I am considering leaving the SDA forum on here

And confining myself to the Messianic forum and men's forum.

The Trads all seem to hate me now, check out their it's "officially official" thread.

I don't hate them.

As for the moderates, progs, and formers, keep fighting the good fight.

I don't feel I am wanted, based on how the Trads seem to feel about me, so I will go where I am wanted.

Am I suprised by this? Not really.

I saw you were setting yourself up for a beating over there Lebesgue, right from the start. I knew once they got a load of your posts over on CARM they would turn on you without mercy. I seriously thought about warning you, but I figured you would have to learn the hard way.

Using your wife as leverage to retaliate was obviously a cheap shot, but I have learned that pretty much nothing is exempt from being used as a tool to personally hurt someone in this place. When you first shared that little bit of info with the forum, the red alarm bells went off in my head. I thought to myself; "He is going to regret letting the Trads know that as sure as I have black hair."

This is why you should NOT provide any personal information on this forum Lebesgue. It is foolish, because it will be used against you eventually if they turn on you. Nothing of your personal life should be offered as ammunition. Keep that sort of thing minimal at best. Testimonies, life stories, family matters, all of that should be kept to yourself.

Also, better to just stay out of thier area. You don't go into the tiger's cage if you don't want to get mauled.

You know, you don't have to leave the forum altogether. You can just stay in our area where we will show you the love.

You guys are cool and have been good to me.

And yeah, I shoulda known sooner or later they would've found out about my stuff on CARM and really used it against me.

And yeah, it was stupid to mention that part of the reason I became an SDA was for my wife. (and this isn't even an issue anymore she is fine with my being a Messianic and even submits to me on spiritual matters and asks me for guidance regarding the Bible, things are very good. I go to my synagogue and she goes to her SDA church and we're both happy with that).

But I like you and the other Progs too much to leave the SDA forum althogether, so I'll just stick with you guys and stay away from the Trads.

Hey, that's great! We're glad you're staying. I think each of us have thought of leaving or cutting back at one point or another, but it's like trying to hold your hand just close enough to the vacuum cleaner nozzle to feel the air moving but not get your hand sucked onto it, then... SHOOP! You're hooked again!
