Could not have stated that better myself. Pity the Rep nazis have stolen the rep button now once and for all.
Lovebirds did make a simple and very profound statement - and I didn't even notice the rep feature until you mentioned it. But there is that 'thanks' button at the bottom of the posts I'm going to try right now...

Ooops - seems the 'thanks' button that I'm sure was there just yesterday is gone now... never mind.

God adopts us warts and all. He helps us get rid of the warts, and consigns the demons to shoal (Gehenna), where they belong! Then we are remade in God's image!

This is what I have told those seeking salvation but for some reason not feeling "good enough." Maybe they're LGBT, maybe alcoholic, whatever; I tell them not to worry about changing themselves. Come to Jesus in full drag with gin on your breath, it doesn't matter, just come to Him. He will sort out what is a sin and what isn't, and He will polish you until you shine like the jewel you are. And I promise He will not make anyone into a person they don't like.

Moriah does. It crawls to Him from wherever it regains conscious awareness of its need for Him, sometimes quite literally writhing and looking up through the flames on the floor of Hell into His face. Sometimes quite literally fresh from outright visceral encounters and interactions with demonkind. Sometimes hours, days, weeks, months after it has lost its way and sometimes mere seconds or even during the act itself. It does not matter, the pits of degradation, the blackest depths of Hell, with the stench of filth and fornication and depravity all over you and pestilences from the void between the stars crawling your soul you can still throw yourself at His feet and beg His mercy and He will NEVER fail to have compassion on you. He bes not like humans all bound up worrying if they have compassion or forgive one more time will you take advantage of them, will you abuse them, will you playsie for a fool ... He has no such cares for His heart bes pure love what drives out all fear.

Psalm 139:7-8 there bes nowhere we can go where He bes not. Even if you make your bed in hell and offer yourself to all the denizens of the Abyss (or They takes you anyhow) He will love you.

Moriah KNOWS this. :D

How do we give reputation points in this new setup?
I haven't figured that out yet...

No rep button yet!

Look at the top right corner of the posts, and you should see a light-bulb symbol next to the post number. That's the rep button.

Thanks!
Someone made that about as intuitive as the ignition lock installed in a hubcap...

I know. Overall, I like the new design, though. Some features are still being tweaked, so it's going to take a while before everything is in final form here.

By the way, posts that were made before the change don't have that little light bulb and can't be repped. :(

You need a Rep for that statement too!:)

Hey Kolya and everyone else -- there bes a prayer requests sticky thread at the top of the P/M/FA subforum here. Everyone please feel free to use it!! That way we can check in there whenever we wish to see what others' prayer needs bes. It got a little derailed by discussion of Army bling, sorry -- but we can put it back to prayer use now! :)

If you're in a position to convey suggestions to the administrators, please pass on my request for a bold high-contrast horizontal bar to mark the current post being read in the thread view. I use this view to navigate through the posts in their conversational order, and it is hard to find the current post as I scroll up&down. Currently the current post is marked with a bolded title font, but the contrast against the other posts is poor.

Overall, this newer version installation is working much better than the previous iteration, and my box is thrilled to download messages without the extra cartoons.

Thanks!
Victor

HI all... I am a former adventist. The Lord lead me to this church shortly after my born again experience. He warned me though, told me that they were Laodecian in every sense of the Word. But He also said that they have many truths, at it was a good foundation to start learning about Him. The church itself is asleep and know not Him.

The Lord also impressed upon my heart about the Feasts {the other sabbaths of the Lord} and while I had gobbled up everything EGW said and that which is written about her, it did not satisfy my hunger for more.

I was so vegetarian, that not even eggs was eaten. I would say that the health message is a good message, but the world has surpassed the SDA on the wisdom of it.

It was the SDA conference behavior towards it pastors, it members, the truth, and its attitude in general of superiority and self righteousness in all matters of faith, that made it too odious to be associated with them. I am sorry but the boat will not go through, and since the conference has wrenched the control out of God's hands, it will break up on the rocks, in the coming storm.

I have read through your thread hear and I can sympathise with the treatment you received which is not of Christ but pharisee in nature. Hopefully, you have forgiven them their blindness and have had the Lord's hand upon your heart to heal it and bring you grace to grow more fully in His light. Never lose sight of Him who is able to save you, even from those who proclaim to know Him, all the while acting like they have no clue as to what God requires of them.

Today, I have spiritually grown because my relationship is with God and not any particular group, because they are all with failings, and all have their gems that the Lord has blessed them with. We are to gather them like treasures and rejoice when we find them. In the last days, we are to a remnant's seed, which means, just the nuggets of truth that sprout up into fruitful spiritual gains, that the Lord can harvest.

God bless you all in your spiritual journeys and hold nothing from the past that will keep you from having a glorious future with Him.
