And there is another common ancestor for the three, which branched off with gorillas on one side of the family tree and humans/chimps on the other. And the human/chimp side branched off to the human line and the separate chimp line.

That is not what the Bible says. The Bible says that the people listed in Luke were decendents of Adam and Eve. Even the Bible says that the Gentiles are not descendants of Adam and Eve. That is why we are adopted into the family. Or we are a wild branch grafted onto the natural tree.
