Would you like me to say that Imams are adulterous, molest children and are corrupt? Or perhaps you would prefer isolationist, sexist and reactionary? Who gains by such exchanges of insults, none of which are fair?

Or do you also think that virtue lies in banning all such publications, rather than in choosing not to look at them? Weird kind of virtue, which assumes, not that 20% or 40% of men will look, but that all of them would, given even half a chance. Just as any woman left alone with any man not a blood relation would necessarily end up in bed with him.

No, Mary does not 'wear hijab'. It is an anachronism to suggest that hijab is an appropriate description of Our Lady's clothing. Our Lady wore what all the other women around her wore at the time, but it was not hijab because that is your word, and is not applicable to a respectable Jewish woman of her day, any more than it would be applicable to a respectable Jewish woman today.

'Hijab' derives from the clothing of Christian women in Syria in the fifth century, which Moslem women copied, in order to emulate the Christians around them. It has nothing to do with first century Judaism.

As for your idea that Christians do not follow Christ, I am sure you are well aware that this is as offensive as for me to suggest that Moslems do not follow the teachings of Mohammed. A Christian is, by definition, one who follows Christ. If he or she is not following Christ, then he or she is not a Christian.

You seem to suggest that we are all sinning all over the place all the time. Actually, we are not. The vast majority of people in the West are honest, hardworking, people. And a significant number are God fearing, and follow Christ as best they can..

They may be hardworking and honest but when it comes to following the law of GOD it is not there.You find most westerners male or female lost their virginity at an average age of 16, Many start drinking at that age too. Many are either born out of wedlock, (children of adultery) or they have committed adultery and have children who they don't even knoew who the father is.I knew women who had more than one child from different fathers.One black , one white and so on and these people will tell they are christian yet they are not following the law of Jesus.

If you have no option but to be good, where is the goodness in the heart? I can guarantee that where you have Moslems following the letter of the law, their hearts yearn for more freedom, and where they can find a loophole, they will. Moslem women are not more modest than Western women; I have been to a Moslem country and the women there wear clothes that I would never dream of wearing. We both live within the cultures of our countries, but modesty is not a preserve of Moslem women - it is imposed on the body, but it is not a feature of the heart.

True holiness can only be found where there is a choice to be bad or good, and the person chooses good.

Islam gives you the choice of Good and bad , Allah in the quran points it out clearly. The ones who chooose the right path will be rewarded with Good, and those who choose the wrong path will be punished. they are muslims who have chosen the wrong path, In Islam allah is merciful he accepts repentance for those who decide to abandon the wrong path and choose the right.There are muslims who have chosen the wrong path too that is up to them.

I am not gloating over anything i am just explaining how Hypocryitcal people who say they are Christians really are in the uncivilised world.Without Islam I used women, we had a saying called the 4 Fs about women I will not describe what they are it is too rude. for 16 years of my life I fell into this immorality, from the age of 16 to 30. Islam Got me to respect women again.
In Islam the Quran says "wa laa takra buzzina" it mean do not approach adultery.so it does not just say do not committ adultery it say do not even go near it, stasy away from anything that would lead to adultery and fornication.It is clear the West humiliates women, use them as sex objects.Makes them think that their bobdy is a sex object so foir them to sleep around is not a problem. Islam restricts it from the roots.
That is my point I do gloat about disrespecting women, actually when I look back I feel sorry for most of them i wish i could meet them again and offer them Islam.

Really, there is violence being perpetrated worldwide by both Islam and Christianity. And yes, paedophilia is an ongoing and as yet unadressed issue in some branches of Christianity. Seriously, these arguments never go anywhere.

You agree that God created marital sex for our benefit, but it should not be found in the Word of God? Am I following you correctly?

We believe the Bible is the Word of God. It is His words to us. How are we to know that God wants us to enjoy and esteem marital sex if He does not tell us?

About daughters... I don't have any children. However, if I ever do, when the time is right, I want them to read the Song of Solomon. And if they read it while still very young, I want to explain to them what God desires for their marriage, that he wants them to remain pure until they are married, that a Godly marriage is something they should look forward to.

I am not blaming the women I am blaming the ideology behind it.The way women in the west are used as sex objects how their minds have been conditioned.
In western schools it teaches that safe sex outside of marrige is Ok, Not that sex out of marriage itself is adultery and a great sin so from young the mind is conditioned that sex outside marriage is OK as long as it is safe and you don't spraed diseases.This is why there is no morals, young people from very early ages losing their virginity and then young girls going out partying and getting laid this is the life in the west.

What is it with you LightofEyes? The book is about imagery and typology! It is full of symbolism. For further study read The Song of Songs by Watchman Nee. This book will give you some spiritual insight to what it is really saying.

I agree with Little Wing here. It is not right to have these double standards Yaqov. You boast about it and then you look on those women, well for all you know they may be Christians now or even Muslims. It is not right to judge them. It is unfair. You know I bet if you asked those women if they were Christians, you would probably find they weren't.

If you had really met a Christian woman you would have known, she would have refused you, no matter what your looks were cool dude boy. Give you a hint about woman: we don't really go by looks, very different from most men who see a pretty face and can't get past that to be just a friend. Not for me mate, I'm fairly financially blessed, but I can only thank God for that, 'for we boast in the Lord' and His blessings he gives us. So many, I just say thank you all day long. With wealth comes responsibility, caution and wisdom, and an earnestness to remain humble and not drive the flash cars and wear too much jewellery (hmmmmm). And those blessings come because of being a Christian.

Why do people from other nations desire to immigrate to Christianised nations? The reason being, the Christian faith nurtured the prosperity and blessings of God that make those nations attractive.

And when the Jews experienced prosperity it was to encourage the heathen to follow the laws of God. No wonder why Jesus said preach the gospel to the poor, because he knew righteousness would uplift not just their spiritual standing but also their physical standing, for God says 'He will not allow the righteous to suffer hunger' - something like that.
