If they are part of our family, certainly. And Paul agrees: "let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Colossians 3

In my flesh? No, I cannot see that happening.
The finished work of salvation is trust in Yeshua, but it is never work to please my Father who Loves me. It maybe a struggle at times and I might not succeed very well but it is not work anymore than helping my earthly parents or my kids out is work.
To consider the things we out of Love for our family as work to earn something from them is akin to the worlds oldest profession.
