There are two types of people in the world, those who accept the righteousness of Christ as their own, and those who wish to establish their own righteousness. The latter really hate the apostle Paul.

My point is that he gave up administering baptism on his own--against the dictum of Jesus Christ.

Thats not entirely clear, but even if it was, paul was not the only elder in that church. He was only one of many men who could have performed that service.

You are right. Another was a zealot. However, all of them were not well known scholars in scripture as Paul was.

Not all pharisees were against Christ either. One pharisee warned the others that they should have nothing to do with persecuting Christ, he reminded them that in time God would reveal the truth, just as He has done with all prophets before. JUst because a person is educated doesn't mean they are wrong. Pauls education later served to fight against the pharisees rejection of the Gospel, so God actually used Paul for good, after he converted him.

Ex: Jesus said that there is only one Teacher, that is, Jesus Christ. Paul speaks of teachers in a congregation!

1 Corinthians 12
28 And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues.

29 All are not apostles, are they? All are not prophets, are they? All are not teachers, are they? All are not workers of miracles, are they?

Ephesians 4
11 And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers,

Jesus himself sent His disciples into the world to teach the Gospel. Do you not see how pauls words refers to them? Paul exalts Christ throughout his writings. He rebukes the Corinthians for not following the spirit teacher that Christ promised. Why do you not see this? Paul refers to himself as a father yes, but he also says thats its because the Corinthians are still carnal infants and that he could not speak to them as spiritual people, but as mere infants. Paul is actually rebuking the Corinthians for being infants when he refers to himself as a father.

Sorry this is a poor argument. You will need to show us. Form a polemic and get back to us.

This was what Jesus asked Paul:

Acts 9
15 But the Lord said to him, "Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel;

This was Paul's easy short cut!

Acts 13
46 Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, "It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first; since you repudiate it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.

Acts 18
6 But when they resisted and blasphemed, he shook out his garments and said to them, "Your blood be on your own heads! I am clean. From now on I will go to the Gentiles."

What has Paul done to spark such rage...??? He was the most inspirational "apostle" in NT. Most of the things that people wouldn't know what to do about them... He's the only one who seemed to address them.

Whoever chose him... Chose the 12 apostles. May the Lord make himself Known!!!

That's not a contradiction. Jesus said if they dont accept you words then shake the dust of your feet and leave.

No I'm not denying the Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. But truth is also revealed through the Holy Spirit. Jesus Himself said so.

If you're going to accuse me of believing in other gods, please cite your evidence from my posts.

If you ignored the preaching of Jesus and believe in self-claim Paul, it would mean you can believe anything!

Paul was not pushing propaganda. He was preaching the Gospel.
Paul was called by Jesus Himself, attested also by Jesus to Ananias, confirmed by the apostles, suffered and nearly died for his faith many times... shall I go on?

Gospel is not one sentence. Tell who else, other than rank outsiders, called Paul an apostle?

Jesus never said that you should never directly address a brother concerning sin. You are reading egoism into the events.

Yes, the attitude of boasting as confessed by Paul himself played an important part in accosting the great apostle, Peter.

How is this a white lie? I would like your biblical proof please.

Gift of interpretation was a lie Paul advocated to shut the mouth of people who were mocking at the Pentecostal phenomenon in notorious Corinth church!

The authorship of 2nd Peter is not widely disputed. It is only disputed by a few with an agenda to push.

Even many Pauline epistles are disputed.

You have yet to prove that Paul taught anything contrary to Jesus. Until you do, there is no credibility to anything you are saying. You are simply mounting non sequitur, ad hominem, a priori, and similar fallacious attacks that have no scriptural basis or support.

You cannot blindly accept a self-proclamation of a rank outsider as scripture since it helps in speculations and to develop 'ear tickling' concepts!

Preaching truth is not easy. Adhering to Jesus' words much more so and difficult. No salvation for those who don't accept the words of Jesus.

Logical fallacy. You cant use Pauls words to support your argument, if you dont agree with them in the first place.

Jesus said his yoke was light and his burden easy to bear.

Paul claimed himself to be an apostle in return he favored his followers with the title 'saint'! People twist his verses or accept part of his verse to claim to be righteous in all respects. Paul cannot offer salvation, mind you!
