No. Paul was commissioned to preach to all, Gentiles and Jews. Paul on his own took the easy short cut of confining to ignorant Gentiles that were easily made to accept compromises. This was not possible with Jews.

Walking in the spirit is not compromise, its the only way for Jew or Gentile.

Hi Rt, would you mind giving us a couple of examples of what you mean by St. Paul's "compromise formulas" and where they can be found in the Bible?

Thanks!

--David

Examples: His communion ritual, interpretation for gibberish talk, etc.

Hi Rt, I have a question about this as well. Are you saying that St. Paul decided to stop baptizing new believers? If so, where does he say that?

Thanks!

--David

1 Corinthians 1:17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not in cleverness of speech, so that the cross of Christ would not be made void.

Poor Paul was not there when Great Commission was entrusted to the chosen apostles (eleven present). So proclaims his own presumed duty!

Peter wouldn't even baptize Gentiles because he was still ignorant of the true Gospel. It wasn't until after peter saw the gentiles had the spirit inside them that he allowed them to be baptized in water. Have you ever considered that maybe the great commission, which says to baptize all men, is actually referring to the baptism of the spirit? And that this baptism may come by preaching the word, just as paul seems to say in Romans 10?

Romans 8:8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”[e] (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”[f] 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”[g].

Written by a mechanical engineer with no knowledge of the gospel's outside of his own reading (maybe) and that is what you offer as evidence? Not even your own understanding of scripture? Just what he says?.....I got some good Jim Jones sermons if you want to hear them......
I don't need appendix for my system to work.
If your appendix goes bad, you are in big trouble.....

1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.

Matthew 3:11 "As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Jesus never used to baptize people. Men only baptize with water. The Holy Spirit baptism will be done by Jesus for the obedient people. No man can claim to do that!

Mere baptism will not save. It is just a public confession of believing in the Trinity. It is done so that people can seek power through the Holy Spirit for witnessing.

The power is in the Word, which is in the gospel message as well. This scripture is not exactly clear, it could mean that these disciples baptize men by preaching the word. Notice the emphasis on making disciples and preaching the commands of Christ.

Mathew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore[a] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

You know all the chosen apostles were fishermen with no great knowledge of the Scripture. You think Jesus made a mistake of choosing them? I don't believe in 'knowledge factories' meant for a livelihood! Which sermon surpasses the Sermon on the Mount?

If your appendix goes bad, you are in big trouble.....

Appendix has led to appendicitis! Removing is the best possible solution for spiritual health!

And you know that how?....You know they never went to synagogue?....which is where the teaching occurred?....were you there?....does it say so in scripture?....if so point it out.

There are three things in the Great Commission: reaching out, baptizing and preaching the words of Jesus. So called evangelists are interested only in the first two points for their statistical boasting. They are least bothered about the words of Jesus. Instead they extensively quote Paul for convenience and comfort!

I am sorry that you appear to be ignorant of some basic facts of the Gospel. Please once again read all the four books of the Gospel. Then ask specifically.

Can I ask where you get your teaching from? It seems you don't subscribe to any known denomination. Is there some teacher/pastor/religious teaching you follow? Or do you have your own belief system that you have worked out?

I have sought and continue to seek from past four decades with studies, fellowship and discussions.
