Btw, many gay people have children biologically in heterosexual marriages before they come out as gay. But I suppose someone will call that a sin also, because the heterosexual couple got divorced. My point is true. You are stretching your interpretation of scripture to try to fit your preconceived beliefs about gay people. You want the 10 commandments to condemn same-sex love, but they don't. So you try to stretch the meaning of adulter to fit your anti-gay beliefs. But the reality is that same-sex marriage is NOT adultery, quite the opposite, and the 10 commandments do NOT say anything about same-sex relationships. Nothing at all. Face up to it.

The dictionary does not determine the meaning of words. The dictionary reflects popular usage of words, and the dictionary changes to reflect popular usage. We do not live according to the dictionary.

I reject the use of the term "illegitimate" to describe any child. There is no such thing as an "illegitimate child." Calling a child this is cruel, and it's wrong.

As for the Bible, people can translate it various ways, and this does not matter to me. I do not regard the Bible as the word of God, and so it's irrelevant to me how people translate it. You'll have to take this question up with those who concern themselves with translation questions. It concerns me not at all.
