I have read all of the new testament, because as a new Christian it's better to read the new testament first. Anyway, I read that with my first bible, "The Message" I recommend that to young Christians new to it all. It's really easy to read and understand. And I got a full bible, old and new testament from this event I went too, but I brought that bible to my church and when I left I couldn't find it anywhere! I think somebody brought it home, thinking it was there! *mental notee, write NAME in bible*

I have never read the Bible from cover to cover. I have read the old Bible stories, and at Church, I read there, too. I feel intimidated by the writings by Paul  , whom I question and who seems to be what I call legalistic :( . John is good to read, along with James and Peter. Peter and I would have gotten along quite well.

I do believe the words of Christ  .

The Old Testament was for when mankind lived under the Law. The New Testament (with the possible exception of Paul) is for us today, under Grace and the precious blood of the Savior, Jesus Christ.

Revelations is for those with deeply religious backgrounds and those who understand symbolism  .

So there you have it. What I understand about the Bible. I'm interested in learning a lot more.

I am still on my first time! At the time I was saved I was working on the OT and am still fascinated by the way that the NT is the result of the OT and the OT is the prophecy of the NT. Then the gospels and some of the letters. I bounce around depending upon inspiration and whatever Bible study I'm doing. I love it all and should just sit down and finish it through. Again and again and again!
