How many times have you read the bible?

Being a new christian (2 years), I only finished 3/4 of the whole bible! What about you.

Not really sure..... I've said 4 because I think it's about that, but it may be many more.....

I've read the Bible from cover to cover, in chronological sequence of when the books were written and when the events took place (this latter method was based on a pre-designed reading plan and I didn't like it very much)....

It's good to read the Bible in it's entirity but I think it's more important that you read it regularly rather than the number of times you have read it cover to cover

I've finished it three times.

But there are several parts I've read over and over again.

I'm guessing more then 5 times. Thing is I never usually read from first page to last. I jump around and spend more time just working on certain books then going to a different set of books. Other times I just reseach topics which takes me to just some chapters in certain books. Probably read from front to cover though the first time when I was in about 3rd grade being brought up in a Chrisitan school where it was encouraged to read it and actually loved it saying to my mom how I wanted to be a pastor when I grew up. Now I'm 24 and a computer tech. but who knowns. Some day God might call me to be one.

Myself I've always been a fast reader without having to just skim and I don't watch to much tv anymore so I try to spend some time everyday reading the bible or some Christian related book.

well...i have most likely read it one time (so thats what i voted)...but i am not sure if i have read all of it at least once. i started to read it all...i know i am over 1/2 done with that. i am also reading it chronologically (for when written/occured) this year, but i am about 11 days behind.

I personally have read the Bible completely once, but have read through the NT numerous times and have read many ot books many times.

I am a new Christian. I am reading the Word every day but not in any particular order. Feeling I needed some guidance, I bought a daily devotional. It helps me to read with a purpose. I plan to start a journal to track my reading, also. Does anyone else keep a journal? I have been advised that it is a good habit to develop.

I wanted to keep a journal but am too lazy.
