The amount of deception couldn't be more entertaining.

Questions like "So, when'd we get a soul?"

"What'd Jesus really die for?"

"Birds will become cats, when?"

People like Bearded and Genez, Av, Dad, et al, simply don't understand evolution because they don't know how it works.

Evolution exists; don't give me the Adam and Eve as real tripe because it'd be physically impossible for two humans to effectively repopulate the gene pool with enough genetic diversity; I don't buy the "Earth was perfect in the beginning" tripe, because thats what it is; tripe. Absolutely a lie, a tool of deception. Jesus isn't a liar; the people who read His word are.

Birds used to be reptiles; there Genez; perfect example of evolution on a macro-level (as they call it; macro and micro evolution are the eXACT SAME THING just percieved from different temporal proximics.) But, oh wait, oh no, birds dont loo klike lizards! how could something evolve into somethign DIFFERENT when they don't look nearly the SAME.

These are the ignorant arguments I get. lol I dont even have a clue what Christian Apologetics means. I amin no way apologetic for believing the TRUTH of evolution.

You al descended from tree-dwelling lemur-like creatures. Deal with it. Love it. Accept it. Absorb yourself in it.

Christ said love the truth, and He is the truth.

So stop being so deceptive and ignorant with these terrible, terrible, unarticulated and poorly thought out unwarranted and unsupported claims.

You do realize that lying to children is bad, right? Y'know you can scar a child's mind for years by just repeting the same lies over and over to them.

The real question is... Will canines stop being dogs? Will felines stop being cats?
No. And neither did we stop being apes, or mammals, or tetrapods or vertebrates...

God created the ability for a species to evolve. But he did not create frogs to eventually become birds.
No but he formed tetrapods who evolved into frogs birds reptiles and mammals.

How is God's Divine mind revealed in the evolutionary process?
I though God's mind was only revealed by the Spirit of God? We are supposed to be able to see something of the eternal power of his divinity through what he created. I certainly have a greater appreciation for power of God and the eternal nature of him who created everything over vast aeons, than I had when I thought it was all put together in a week a few thousand years ago. I am amazed by his wisdom and the magnitude, the sheer awesome scale of his power.
Isaiah 65:24
"It will also come to pass that before they call,
I will answer; and while they are still speaking,
I will hear."

That verse reveals that God already knew all our needs before they are manifested. His attribute of omniscience is revealed. And, as was shown with the change of finch beaks that Darwin is so famous for having recorded. Harvard scientists have since found that those finches are genetically predisposed to make such changes. It could be seen as a chameleon was always observed on a brown background, but when removed from the habitat they were found in, to see a change in color when placed in an environment with green hues. Was that evolution? Or, God always had this innate ability inborn that remained latent until properly stimulated by the change? Evolution is God's way of showing he always knew what was to come.

As far as Darwin having found on different islands, finches having different types of beaks that was best suited for their environment? God did likewise with mankind when he broke men off into different nations and races at the Tower of Babel.

Instead of beaks? God segregated different men by means of having each group have their own language. I also believe that God transformed men's physical attributes after they had migrated to different parts of the world for them to be best suited to survive in whatever eco-system they found themselves ordained of God. This change also helped God to achieve his desired effect of keeping men separated into nations. We can see God producing rapid physical change in the example of the serpent being transformed instantly into a creature destines to crawl on its scutes.

The answers are all to be found in the Bible. But! Its not for those who want to have everything spelled out for them in black and white. God's system requires a believer to first have a love of knowledge for God's Word. After knowledge is gained, then the Holy Spirit can lead such a believer into wisdom and insight to find answers.

Philippians 1:9
"And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more
and more in knowledge and depth of insight"

Some may find this counter to what they have been taught in their churches.. but, a Christian's love is to abound in knowledge and insight. Not, in the sort of blind faith that is pumped up in mindless emotionalism.
Mindless emotionalism that adds up to being no more than religiously following the traditions of men. Beliefs that now divide Christians into the miriad of denominations we find so prevelant today.

In Christ, GeneZ
You recognise God created the ability for a species to evolve. Is there any reason to think there is a limit to a species evolution? What sets boundaries to the diversity of a species evolution in different environments? All it needs its time and you know the earth is ancient.

Same to you Genez,
Take your bible away and you are lost.

I lose the Bible,
I am in Christ just the same

A christ. Not, The Christ.

Matthew 4:4
"Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live
on bread alone, but on every word that comes
from the mouth of God.'"

If the bible disappeared from the face of the Earth
We would still be in Christ.

How would you have learned of Christ, then?

It saddens me you are so locked to the flesh.
It is ok tho, we will meet in the same place.

I wish you knew what you were talking about. But, be that as it may. Not everyone who is a Christian will be be found having the same kind of place in Heaven. If you read the following passage, you will see that not all believers will receive the same Eternal destiny. Some will have NOTHING to show for what they did after they received salvation. They will be saved as a man who runs from a burning house, who's soul is saved, but all what he had was lost. Some will lose all rewards that God has stored for them. They will only be saved from the Lake of Fire and will be like a street person in Heaven. He will still will be happy, but with total loss of great (pleasing) rewards.

1 Corinthians 3:11-15
"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one
already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds
on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones,
wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for
what it is, because the Day will bring it to light.
It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will
test the quality of each man's work. If what he
has built survives, he will receive his reward.
If it is burned up, he will suffer loss;
he himself will be saved, but only as one
escaping through the flames."

Why will certain believers be denied such phenomenal Eternal rewards? Wood, hay, and straw....= false teachings that produced anti-christ actions.

Matthew 4:4
"Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live
on bread alone, but on every word that comes
from the mouth of God.'"

so be it...

Stick to what the Bible says is so, and you will answer your own question.

I only recognize what the Bible makes known directly, or by inference from what it does say directly.

The earth is ancient, yes. This current creation is not.

Other creations graced the surface of this earth before this one. And, once again God will replace this creation with a new one... with many new species to be found.

Isaiah 11
6 The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling together;
and a little child will lead them.

7 The cow will feed with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.

8 The infant will play near the hole of the cobra,
and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest.

9 They will neither harm nor destroy
on all my holy mountain,
for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea.

Isaiah 65:25
"The wolf and the lamb will feed together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox,
but dust will be the serpent's food.
They will neither harm nor destroy
on all my holy mountain,"
says the LORD."

Those passages DO NOT speak of the results of evolution. This dramatic transformation will happen over night after Christ's return to reign on earth. The Bible reveals a modus operandi. Because after what you see in the above passages last a thousand years? Then this planet and universe will be completely destroyed, and once again a new heaven and earth will be created afresh. (2 Peter 3:12-14 and Revelation 21:1-3). You might not believe this, but Satan and his angels so.. and tremble in fear of God fulfilling his Word.

As I stated in another forum
I think we started discussing it here:
http://www.christianforums.com/t7355465-9/#post51361962
Listen, you have a whole load of questions here and I had a go at dealing with them all back in the previous thread. Could I suggest you try one or two points this time rather us than having to go through the whole list again?

I do not understand why any christen would believe evolution at all. To me saying you’re a Christian and an evolutionist is an oxymoron. I feel like you can’t be both because it takes away from the very foundation of our Christian beliefs, that Jesus died for the sins of the world that was started by Adam & Eve. What was Jesus dying for? Who was he dying for? If we evolved from goo when did we get a soul? When did the fall come? Genez is not the enemy here. As I stated above the ideal that man came about from some other means then by God making him from the dust of the earth is absurd. Man has been around almost as long as the earth. Why would God not tell us, THE TRUTH as in we evolved, about how we came to be? Do you think that we could not understand? The Mayans understood the heavens long before modern scientist did. The Egyptian and other civilizations understood how to cut, move and build great buildings, walls and other things with large stones that we have no clue how they did it with the tools we find that they had. Do you not think that if God told man that he was not created in a day we would not understand? I think not. Even back in Noah’s time men’s were not stupid. He built an ark with his own hands. Could you? Do you also not believe in The Garden? The bible states clearly that there was no sin until after Adam and Eve ate of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. There was no death until Cain killed Abel. How do these things fit into a world where there was already death? Do we know all the answers? I don’t think we do and I don’t think that we are supposed to know all of them. But we as christens are moving farther away from God, more and more believe things that take away from what God wants from us. We stop defending the Bible and start trying to make the Bible fit into mans ideals instead of man fitting into Gods ideal we are going the wrong way. Look around you the more people know the dumber we become. MPOK1519 said science seems to be winning most of its challenges.” I don’t think so. There is a lot of scientist out there, Christian and non-Christian, who think evolution is hog wash.

the thing is, by spreading the lie that evolution doesn't exist, you're doing something very anti-christ, since, Christ is the truth.

I said evolution does exist. Then you say I said it does not.

Your comprehension ability needs to evolve. But, I do not have a million years to wait before you get it. ;)

Well, okay....you just confuse people when you're trying to isolate and individualize the term "Creation" when we already have scientific terminology to describe what you are trying to tweak into a theological idea rather than a perfectly sound scientific one.

but, heres the facts.

the earth is billions of years old.
people are descendant of ancient arborial lemur-like creatures that evolved into primates
people are primates
Adam and Eve is a myth and lesson about love and being there for those you love
the fossil record is incomplete, but never will be complete, but does no negate the above facts
Creationism is a term used by theologians to describe the natural processes of the universe, and biological evolution, ie, its a word that we could live without and only throws people off.

Stick to what the Bible says is so, and you will answer your own question.
The bible does not mention evolution or atoms, gravitation, the heliocentric solar system or DNA. So how do you set limits on an evolution that isn't mentioned in the bible?

I only recognize what the Bible makes known directly, or by inference from what it does say directly.

The earth is ancient, yes. This current creation is not.
Except you read that into the Genesis account rather than read it directly. Why should something the bible doesn't even say set a limit to how far evolution can develop? Even if you believe there was a recreation in Gen 1:2, you believe the fossil record was laid down over countless ages before that. Any reason to think animals did not evolve over that time? Any reason the hominids we find in the fossil record could not have evolved form earlier hominids and apes, and them from even earlier primates?

Other creations graced the surface of this earth before this one. And, once again God will replace this creation with a new one... with many new species to be found.

Isaiah 11
6 The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling together;
and a little child will lead them.

7 The cow will feed with the bear,

Isaiah 65:25
"The wolf and the lamb will feed together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox,
but dust will be the serpent's food.
They will neither harm nor destroy
on all my holy mountain,"
says the LORD."

(2 Peter 3:12-14 and Revelation 21:1-3). You might not believe this, but Satan and his angels so.. and tremble in fear of God fulfilling his Word.

If the passage is about the future and will happen overnight when the Lord returns, what has that got to do with evolution in the past and over millions of years?

You also need to realise it is part of an apocalyptic and figurative description of the future. Isaiah 11:1 There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit.
2 And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.
3 And his delight shall be in the fear of the LORD. He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide disputes by what his ears hear,
4 but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall kill the wicked.
5 Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his loins.
6 The wolf shall dwell with the lamb...
Perhaps wolves will be vegetarians as much as Jesus is a branch of wood with an iron bar in his mouth wearing righteousness around his waste.

Its not what it does not mention. Its what it does mention that should guide the Christian who has the propensity for science. Of course, having a poor translation is disaster for the earnestly seeking scientist.

All the realities you named should have you spell bound to know the one who conceived all what you speak of will be speaking to you someday.

I can tell you an experience I had about 25 years ago. I was going through a situation where I was tempted to be anxious about the outcome.
I was working for a commuter airline. It was a private airport. On a clear day you could see for miles. I used to use a mountain peak to determine the visibility for the pilots when they radioed in before their landings.

What happened was this...

I was being preoccupied with a situation I was waiting upon for a solution. I decided during a quiet time to get up and walk outside towards the fence surrounding the airstrip. It was a clear and warm day.

First.. I must say this. I am not an emotional holy roller type who seeks miracles and signs from God. I am leery of such things normally. What took place was very rare for me. It took me by surprise..

I stood at the fence. I was in an attitude of prayer.

Out of nowhere a voice filled my mind and told me....
"Look at the grass."

This was a very wide open area to be seen for miles. I looked down at my feet at the grass.

"Every blade of grass consists of millions of molecules."

I accepted the thought.

"Every molecule is made of of atoms."

I accepted the thought.

"Do you think when all these molecules and atoms were created, that I sent out a committee to create all you see?

I was getting scared, but I accepted the thought.

"I personally created each and every one INDIVIDUALLY!"

I was totally stunned at this point, but I accepted the though.

"Now, looks at all the blades of grass! Look at the fence that has millions of molecules and atoms!"

Then this voice boomed...

"DON'T YOU THINK I HAVE CONTROL OVER EVERYTHING!?
"

I began at that point to experience trembling and fear. It was out of an uncontrollable awe that I could hardly bear. Then, there was silence. I snapped out of it.

Colossians 1:16-17
"For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens
and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones
or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things
have been created through Him and for Him.

He is before all things,

and in Him all things hold together."

I later recalled Paul saying that when he preached he did so with great fear and trembling. He was not experiencing stage fright. Its not really like any fear we normally know. Its not out of terror. Its out of a fear of being overwhelmed by being made able to see a reality that is no longer by means of simple mental ascent. It becomes overwhelmingly real with what we normally would never think of experiencing as real.

Every molecule and atom that exists? All. He not only created each one personally, but he also always knew where each one would be throughout the history of time. Before your great grandfather was born, God already knew how many hairs you would have on your head at the very moment you read this.

That kind of God does not have to lie. If man came from a chimp? He would have told us. Its you who has to seek and find out how the data science comes up with is to be reconciled with what the Bible says is so. Poor translations are not to be used as a poor excuse. For some qualified and sought an accurate understanding of what the Scriptures convey in a much more accurate fashion. Those not seeking throw up their arms, surrender to popular opinion, and deny the Spirit living in them to continue on to seek what the truth really is. God can not lie.

Ephesians 4:30
"And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom
you were sealed for the day of redemption."

Many do not care what that says. They only care about keeping their good standing amongst their mutually gifted peers.

Scientists have long used genetic switches to turn genes on and off, but they have struggled to control intermediate settings. Now researchers have engineered a DNA dimmer that allows them to adjust a gene’s activity level. By adding measured amounts of anhydrotetracycline (ATc) to a population of genetically modified yeast cells, scientists at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center were able to precisely control the production of green fluorescent protein. Doubling the concentration of ATc, for instance, made the cells glow twice as brightly. Even small changes in gene activity can change cell behavior dramatically, so this fine-tuning may open up new avenues for studying gene function.
Just as engineers rearrange capacitors and resistors to create different electric circuits, researchers can arrange gene promoters and repressors—stretches of DNA that control gene activity—to create gene circuits with different properties. Such circuits have already been used to build a genetic clock and to synthesize cellular machinery that can follow basic logic commands such as AND, OR, and NOR("not OR").
Biological physicist Gábor Balázsi says his team’s discovery of the genetic dimmer circuit was serendipitous. “We were originally testing for something else,” he says, “so when we found the relationship between ATc and fluorescence, we couldn’t believe it.” Their next step is to investigate whether the circuit works in mammalian cells. If so, it could help researchers understand the effects of genes operating at different intensities and may eventually have applications in therapies for genetic disorders. Ref: Discover Magazine.

This will lead to Macro evolution.
Genez, if you do not know why, do not respond.

The real question is do we humans have the moral fiber to do it.
We are in a transition stage now, we either change or “die”. Remember though we will truly not die for our experiences are burned into the very fabric of space and god himself.

The Earth was not given to us by our parents,
It was lent to us by our children.

It is not ours,

Will lead to ME? According to some here its already been here. So, you are saying we do not yet have ME? (don't bother to answer that one)

But, to answer your question. It might lead to the effects of ME. But? Only with an outside intelligent influence at the reigns. A reality that God always knew men would stumble upon. Its his machinery.

The real question is do we humans have the moral fiber to do it.
We are in a transition stage now, we either change or “die”. Remember though we will truly not die for our experiences are burned into the very fabric of space and god himself.

Moral fiber? Man? Look at all the bankruptcies we are now facing due to the innate corrupt nature of man. Look at all the wars and murders throughout history. I ask you? Why should we be in such a transition as you described it? Maybe if we allowed more to die, it would cause those remaining to truly live for the first time. What you pointed to may only be finding better ways to keep the host alive and functioning, so that the parasites can multiply that much the more.

The Earth was not given to us by our parents,
It was lent to us by our children.
Creating slogans that induces people to mindlessly emote with a positive feeling, does not mean it makes sense. To prove my point? Explain that, if you can.

The logical ending of micro is macro Genez, You can deny god all you want, it is the logical ending. DNA is the only thing, here a program, written by God himself. The only thing I know written in stone is the rock record.

Jesus told us about pharisises like you. All religion and fluff. You do not know him Genez ... you spread lies and lead people awayfrom the truth.

The truth and the light in christ,
You huddle around your ego,
Let it go
let jesus be jesus and not what you want him to be.

You lock the light is a room made of religion,
a house made by men.

You can noy hold it all Genez ... it is out and you are afraid now.
Don't be, we are one in christ.

The amount of deception couldn't be more entertaining.

But yet you want us to believe that a mindless set of somehow created information could in fact populate the entire world with all kinds of differing, and more intelligent life. But that two fully formed, perfect humans with all the genetic information perfect in them without mutations of any sort could not even populate the world with "just" humans. Wow, I am sorry to say this, but that is the silliest thing I have ever heard. Evolution is fail, fail, fail, if you want me to believe that a simple bacteria had enuf genetic info to make all I see outside my window, let alone life over the entire earth.
Come on, dude, think about what you are trying to tell us is silly and then think about what you are trying to get us to believe, then tell me who has the most valid point on gene distribution.

But yet you want us to believe that a mindless set of somehow created information could in fact populate the entire world with all kinds of differing, and more intelligent life. But that two fully formed, perfect humans with all the genetic information perfect in them without mutations of any sort could not even populate the world with "just" humans. Uh, I have the most valid point on gene distribution. You suggest that in six-thousand years, humans have populated the earth from two individuals; by a scientific standard, the gene pool simply isn't diverse enough to sustain itself. This whole "perfection" theory you have is also bullspit. Nothing is perfect unless everything is. Perfect isn't even a real biological term used in any scientific settings. Perfect is a subjective term to describe something that pleases you, nothing more.

It wasn't bacteria; it was single-celled mitochondrial eukaryotes with prokaryotic traits. Dont kow what that means? Then don't try to lecture me on science bub. You simply spread lies and deception; thats the devil's job.

Take the course in either biological evolution or physical anthropology. THEN you'll understand. Until then, you won't, and you'll believe ridiculous and incredible and false things until the day you decide to stop learning. So please, support your local library and university.

also, trying to mix scripture with science doesn't work.

Coming from someone who is not even capable of mixing scripture with scripture? Truly authoritative.

Here is something I found in my shoe closet.

Isaiah 40:22
He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth,
and its people are like grasshoppers.
He stretches out the heavens like a canopy,
and spreads them out like a tent to live in."

That reveals that the Bible stated the world is not flat long ago while men were commonly thinking it is flat. And, it also revealed that there is a (atmospheric) boundary around the earth. How could anyone begin to know that back then? That states that what is directly above the earth did not simply continue on forever into space. It was like a tent. How could anyone back then know?

Just a lucky metaphor?
