  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It can show that a person (christian) is obedient to God and remain chaste until marriage. Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. Hebrews 13:4

It can show that a person (christian) is content with their life as a single person and not try to do it *their* way.
I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:11-13

It can show that a person (christian) trust God enough to work out the details and getting wisdom on being a good spouse in *all* ways after marriage.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Rom 8:28... that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose

It can show others that God gets us through life no matter what the situation is.:)
