Man's society has been built on numbers. Cost-effectiveness. You never consume resources without a guarantee of the gains. Lots of resources equal lots of gain. Low resources, low gain. That's how society works. There is nothing done for free. This movement was well executed. Anything well done costs money, and lots of it.
Your engagement on this is involvement with the world. They host christian discussions in exchange for profits which is capitalism. The bulk of the conversations on the venue are political. You’ve chosen an odd setting for discourse in light of your ideals.
I do whatever God tells me to do. And so far, it is to not be of the world.
Besides, people don't understand. They don't understand the importance of being sober-minded. The more you tell them not to do something, the more they want to do it. They are mostly focused on forgiveness of the Lord instead of stopping their sin. If they were sober-minded, they would have better control over themselves.
I see people chained to their desires. Money-chasers and skirt-chasers , because only these two exist. It's such a useless pursuit in the grand scheme of things. I am very thankful in being what I am. I would have disliked this sandcastle-like living.
The world won’t be whole until Christ’s reign. We‘re incapable of loving one another unselfishly and many do not wish to.
