I'd put a woman at the very top of that list---Olympia Snowe.

Yeah, that's the first (and honestly, only) republican woman who isn't Palin who pops into my head. I think I'd vote for her over any other people on that list. I don't think she'd get the backing from her party though.

No, I am claiming her gender is irrelevent to her fitness for office.

Oh PLEASE. Stop being so obtuse, it's really no helping anything. He was using the appropriate pronoun - when referring to a person, you use "he" or "she" rather than using their names all the time. His arguments had nothing to do with the fact that Palin is a woman. The arguments would have been the same if Palin were a man.

He would have said "she is only fit for killing animals on reality TV" if it were a man being discussed?

Ho ho ho... you wacky liberals. See, this is the trouble you get into when you get confused about things like who marries whom in a marriage.

Good -- so are we. She's unfit; even she knew this, which is why she promptly got out of politics and found a new career as a paid endorser/reality TV star.

Goodbytes claimed not to be arguing in gender specific terms. I am highlighting the eroneous nature of that claim.
So your argument that his objections were gender based is that he referred to a woman as "her" and "she"? Proper use of pronouns is really the basis of your assertion.

I must be making a gender based statement since I used "his" and "he". HAHAHA!!!

you guys can get as semantic as you like. The fact is that you treat the first serious female presidential candidate in this country's history with contempt and scorn. Actions speak louder than words.
Actually the first serious female presidential candidate was Hillary Clinton. How was she treated by conservatives?

Sarah deserves that scorn, but not because of her gender, but by her actions. And she is by far not the first serious female presidential candidate.

The first serious Female Presidential candidate was Hillary Clinton and she would have had my full support had she won the nomination.

The reason i ridicule, mock and demean Sarah Palin is because of her fringe radical right wing conservative ideology which would set America on an inevitable downward spiral that would cause irrecoverable damage to the United States.

More to the point, how was she treated by LIBERALS?

Cast aside like so much rubbish, in favour of the first available MALE candidate, despite his REAL lack of qualifications and experience.

Hilary Clinton is NOT the person you want to be citing when trying to prop up claims of gender neutrality in the left.

Which is precisely why Palin made her first and only wise political move and got out of politics altogether -- she seems content as a reality TV star and a paid celebrity endorser for the Tea Party, and I wish her nothing but success in her new chosen profession.

Can I keep this for when Palin loses the nomination?

I have to disagree. When it comes to her own position Palin has made many (in hindsight at least) very good moves.

She is far from a failure, considering her inate abilities she is a roaring success.

Hillary Clinton was treated quite well by liberals, that's why she nearly won the Democratic nomination. She would stand no chance in the right ring conservative Republican party.

Hillary Clinton is among the most powerful figures in the Democratic party. What about Pelosi? She was elected as the first woman Speaker of the House. If Democrats are misogynistic they are doing it wrong.
