The left is collectively laughing their butts off. They could not have found a better foil to drive the middle in their direction. Heck she manages to drive some of the firm right into other camps.

I think the artist is telling the truth in this quote:

I'm smart enough to know when people post things like: "You liberals worship Obama!" or the reverse: "All conservatives worship Ronnie Reagan!" the odds that a discussion is going to be productive have pretty much already dropped to 0%.

uhmmm I think that was a suggestion made by the guy writing the article, not an actual part of the unveiling. And I also have the impression the song was written as a parody, not an actual love song (which you seem to be implying it was) by a conservative blogger.

The middle overwhelmingly didn't vote for the Republicans, they voted against the Democrats. A subtle, but important difference. We'll see how Palin fares once she is out in the spotlight again and is asked unfair questions like "What is your plan on foreign policy" by spiteful liberal interviewers.

Not seeing the picture of Sarah Palin on a donkey...

Well, I couldn't find ones of her riding one I found ones of her cooking, gutting and shooting donkeys but none of her riding one. I did find an article that describes what the rubber President Obama on a donkey was about, and it didn't seem to be about them worshiping him. Or thinking he was the messiah. as opposed to the things I posted where they came out and said she was the messiah. I'm assuming those authors were engaging in hyperbole and don't actually worship Palin. Just as liberals don't worship President Obama.
