The true cause of this conflict is found in the quotes from the Talmud below and the Christians with a false futurist eschatology that fuel and justify this hatred, thinking they are expediating the coming of Christ.

I don’t think Hamas was inspired by the Talmud to rape and murder civilians.

You are correct because Hamas does not follow the Talmud. Only those who are Khazarian Talmudic Pharisees who are fake Jews and of the Synagogue of Satan use the Talmud.

YHVH (actually YHWH) is an abbreviation for Yahweh. The Jews had a problem using Gods name because they did not have the intimate experience of God-Incarnate and the Holy Spirit allowing them to do that and were afraid of blaspheming the name by usage. Christians have the freedom to use the name because of what Christ has done but again it should not be misused.
Can you please show me any Hebrew manuscripts which use the name Yahweh. The answer is you can't because none exist.

It is true that Hebrews were afraid of blaspheming God's name and that is why they shortened the many theophonic names that start with Jeho as seen below. Please notice the beginning of each of these names and you will see the same letters as the Tetragrammaton proving that the name of the LORD is JEHOVAH and not Yahweh which Theodoret heard the Samarians use in the 4th century and sounds very similar to the name the pagans use for their god Jupiter.

Political actors aside, the Israli intelligence services have a high reputation...or did until this event. They totally misread Hamas as the Reuter article notes.

Assuming any of this is actually how it happened, and it wasn't some sort of inside job, well, it won't happen again.
Without question Israel has a powerful military! Hamas has bitten off more than it can chew! By reaping the wind they will reap the whirlwind and have sown the seeds for their annihilation!

I can't figure out what their strategy was.

Nor can I really figure out how Israel will handle it. It looks like house-to-house combat is what they're planning, but that's going to be indescribably bloody.

While the IDF is indeed a strong army, they face an extremely difficult mission. I can't think of a more challenging task than clearing thousands of buildings, 300+ miles of tunnels (or at least that what Hamas claimed at one point) or navigating miles of urban streets with potential threats coming from all sides. The casulty rates will be high.

Thanks for enlightening everyone here with documented facts. Sadly most people don't bother to do any research, before they form their opinion.

It's interesting to see how most people don't like to be corrected. It makes me wonder if they're even interested in facts.

"Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin compared an Israeli ground invasion of Gaza to the fight by Iraqi and U.S. soldiers to retake the Iraqi city of Mosul from ISIS in 2017. “That was nine months of intense combat,” he said on ABC's “This Week.” “This may be a bit more difficult because of the underground network of tunnels that Hamas has constructed over time, and the fact that they’ve had a long time to prepare for a fight.”

Further proof below that God's name is not Yahweh as so many today have been deceived into believing.

For those who do not know, Hebrew reads from right to left.

Back to the topic at hand.....reporting from WaPo:

KISSUFIM, Israel — When Hamas militants arrived in the tiny kibbutz of Kissufim, less than a mile from the border with the Gaza Strip, they attacked a carefully picked first target: the white and red metal communication towers on its outskirts.

They made a beeline for the small fenced compound that housed the critical equipment, shooting at it and using a ladder to scale a barbed wire fence to get inside, videos obtained by The Washington Post show.

“They knew exactly what they were doing,” said Shai Asher, 50, a member of the armed kibbutz security squad that battled Hamas gunmen that day, struggling to communicate with each other and unable to call for backup.

“The phone network doesn’t work, WhatsApp doesn’t work, everything is broken down, our radio doesn’t work, all the channels of command are missing,” he recalled. “They had a flawless battle plan that they executed flawlessly.”
For hours, volunteers such as Asher were left to fend for themselves, outnumbered and outgunned. The soldiers that were supposed to protect them were blind to the unfolding disaster, or had been killed or kidnapped.

In a simultaneous wave of attacks on at least seven military posts across the border, Hamas sought to systematically disable key detection, communications and warning systems, using snipers and commercial drones armed with explosives. The strategy allowed its gunmen to advance deep into Israeli territory with little resistance and scrambled the subsequent military response.

Israeli communications that close to Gaza were ridiculously weak and one-dimensional. That was arrogance.

....and complacent.

It seems Israel stopped listening:

At the headquarters of his service, Shin Bet, officials had spent hours monitoring Hamas activity in the Gaza Strip, which was unusually active for the middle of the night. Israeli intelligence and national security officials, who had convinced themselves that Hamas had no interest in going to war, initially assumed it was just a nighttime exercise.

Their judgment that night might have been different had they been listening to traffic on the hand-held radios of Hamas militants. But Unit 8200, Israel’s signals intelligence agency, had stopped eavesdropping on those networks a year earlier because they saw it as a waste of effort.

When you fail to discover something that you had clear capability to discover, that is a bona fide intelligence failure.

Curiously, the Prime Minister had to retract his statement on "X" yesterday (maybe it was viewed as shifting blame...after all, Netanyahu certainly shares a good portion of the blame).

The rifts and disarray among Israel’s top leaders erupted into the open on Sunday when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared to blame the military and security establishment for the failures that led to the surprise Hamas assault on Oct. 7 — even as Israeli forces were broadening their ground war in Gaza.

The comments by Mr. Netanyahu on X, formerly Twitter, prompted a furious response, including from within his own war cabinet. The post was deleted, and the Israeli leader apologized in a new post, saying: “I was wrong.”

Complete statement by Netanyahu this past Sunday on "X", which he later retracted after fierce pushback:

After an announcement of a new phase in the Gaza military action (about which many Israelis have mixed emotions), Netanyahu declared at roughly 1 a.m. on Sunday, “Contrary to the false claims: Under no circumstances and at no stage was Prime Minister Netanyahu warned of Hamas’s war intentions.” He added, “On the contrary, all the security officials, including the head of military intelligence and the head of the Shin Bet, assessed that Hamas had been deterred and was looking for a settlement. This assessment was submitted again and again to the prime minister and the cabinet by all the security forces and intelligence community, up until the outbreak of the war.”

Benny Gantz, the leader of a major opposition party who agreed to be part of a special war cabinet, denounced the tweet. “On this morning in particular, I want to support and strengthen all the security forces and [Israel Defense Forces] soldiers, including the IDF chief of staff, the head of military intelligence, the head of the Shin Bet,” Gantz added early Sunday. “When we are at war, leadership must display responsibility, make the correct decisions and strengthen the forces in a way that they will understand what we demand from them …. [T]he prime minister must retract his statement.”

Likewise, “Netanyahu crossed a red line tonight,” said opposition leader Yair Lapid. “While IDF soldiers and officers are fighting bravely against Hamas and Hezbollah, [the PM] is trying to blame them, instead of supporting them. The efforts to evade responsibility and place blame on the security establishment weakens the IDF while it is fighting Israel’s enemies.”

Yet if the PM does not enjoy the full support of the military, how long can they hold their position?

Netanyahu got the job based on being the hardliner who would best protect Israel from terrorists. He's got to put the blame on someone.

The West Bank is a very small strip of land, every inch of it's border is heavily monitored and guarded by the IDF 24/7
If anyone believes that the incursion took the IDF by surprise, I have an opera house to sell you.
This was all carefully planned by the puppet masters
we are not talking of thr west bank
