• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Just for fun, how do you score on this test?

http://www.worldviewweekend.com/test/register.php

I'm fairly certain I would have done better, but some of the questions were so poorly worded that there was really no way to answer truthfully. Still, I was humbly proud of my score.

My classification was: Communist/Marxist/Socialist/Secular Humanist Worldview Thinker

My score was: -73 points of 170 possible, 43

I have no idea where the -43% came from. 170 - 73 = -97
They must be using creationist math.

Perhaps grading non-Americans would bring in too many folks who don't share their world view. So foreigners must be excluded?

That's along the lines of what I thought at first, except mine was, "You stick your thing into her thing and let nature take over."

LOL! Percentages in this case are 73/170 = 43%. If you get 4/5 problems right you did NOT get 4% right. Sheesh, humanities majors

Anyway, BS questions are as follows:

If the research and theory of a group of scientists contradicts the Word of God, the error is with the scientists, not the Bible.
Why do I think there should be a floating "Our interpretation" in there?

One of the greatest virtues one can posses is the virtue of tolerance as defined by our postmodern world; namely, we accept everyone's lifestyles as equal.
Does the term "postmodern" always indicate that pure bullbyproduct is about to be appear?

Family, church and state are institutions ordained by God.
I want a new checkbox, one for all three. Family? Yeah. Church? Not necessarily. State? No.

There is a Bible verse that states that God helps those that help themselves.
Not specifically as such (at least I've never seen it, but I haven't read it as many times as I should have). However there are many times where God basically says "Quit your whining and go do something." Manna anyone?

The wording "separation of Church and State" is found in the U.S. Constitution.
Why are we questioning facts?

God used the process of biological evolution to create the world as we know it today.
Life. The world did not evolve, it's a lump of rock.

If you want to study the original source of law, then study the previous decisions of judges since our laws are always evolving based on the most recent decisions of our nation's judges.
Someone has never heard of "Statue" and "Precident." I'm just going to mock them, because statute has to be the original source (definition of original source).

And, drumroll: I'm a "Socialist Worldview Thinker" weighing in at 11%. Too bad I disagree with socialism.

Idiocies in their answer section (DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT TAKEN!)

Q: The more a government resembles a pure democracy the more disorder and confusion occur.

A: Your answer: Strongly Disagree (-1 points)
Correct answer: Strongly Agree
Problem: Democracy may seem chaotic, but chaotic does not equal confusion.

Q: All forms of government-sponsored Socialism stifle economic growth and prosperity to one degree or another.

A: Your answer: Strongly Disagree (-1 points)
Correct answer: Strongly Agree
Problem: Failure to define terms. Socialism includes many programs that increase prosperity, such as national parks, and forever wild zones, as measured in economic terms.

Q: The most biblically based tax system would be one based on a flat tax system where everyone pays the same percentage of their income in taxes.

Your answer: Strongly Disagree (-1 points)
Correct answer: Strongly Agree
Problem: Jesus, the poor person, 2 coins, any bells ringing ?

Q: Physically and mentally healthy adults that do not work should not be protected from suffering the consequences of their actions.
A: Your answer: Strongly Disagree (-1 points)
Correct answer: Strongly Agree
Problem: Oh, guess.

Q:Science, history, literature and other advanced educational skills and facts can be taught without a religious or philosophical foundation.
A: Your answer: Strongly Agree (-1 points)
Correct answer: Strongly Disagree
Problem: Please explain how religion and thermodynamics intersect.

Q: The Bible states that the government does not bear the sword in vain. Numerous verses throughout the Bible make it clear that capital punishment administered by the government, for those that have committed capital crimes, is biblically acceptable.

A: Your answer: Strongly Disagree (-1 points)
Correct answer: Strongly Agree
Problem: Numerous passages make it clear that God's judgement is infallible, and that he can mete out judgement. However it is unclear that human judgement is infallible enough to justify an irreversable solution.

Q: One of the Ten Commandments is, “thou shalt not kill”, thus it stands to reason that God is opposed to war and nation’s going to war.
Problem: They misquoted a commandment. I don't even need to list my answer. THEY MISQUOTED A COMMANDMENT! KJV is a poor translation, period.

Q: If God does not exist, all things are permissible.
Problem: I'm supposed to strongly agree with this? It's irrelevent in any case, since it's postulate is a what if that will never occur.

Q: Both Secular Humanism and Marxism are religious worldviews.
A: Your answer: Strongly Disagree (-1 points)
Correct answer: Strongly Agree
Problem: Lets see, definition of religion?

Q: Biological evolution (life from non-life to human beings) runs contrary to reason, science and history.
A: Your answer: Strongly Disagree (-1 points)
Correct answer: Strongly Agree P
roblem: Bite me

Q: There is no evidence for a world-wide flood.
A: Your answer: Strongly Agree (-1 points)
Correct answer: Strongly Disagree
Problem: YEC's are alive and smoking.

Q: God used the process of biological evolution to create the world as we know it today.
A: Your answer: Strongly Agree (-1 points)
Correct answer: Strongly Disagree
Problem: High school science never hurt anyone. Guess I know why they don't want the test for a high school diploma.

I was going to take the test as I thought Kent Hovind would answer but it was impossible after just the first few questions.

There were no responses for:

I am an adult in the workplace but I don't pay taxes (don't tell the IRS)

I have a college degree but I bought it from a bogus degree mill

I AM a bible believing church

I am a self proffessing born again christian and you are going to hell because you believe in evolution.

I have $250,000 in the bank - prove there is no God and its yours

Socialist Worldview Thinker

Don't ask me how that worked out !!!!

This test is pretty stupid. These people need to learn the proper definition of Worldview if they are going to have a "right-wrong answer" test. What an oxymoron!

COMPLETELY STUPID !!!!

The test was flawed big time - I took it anyway though.

Communist/Marxist/Socialist/Secular Humanist Worldview Thinker
-21 points of 170 possible, -12%

Do you really lose points for stating that a global flood never really occurred? If so, it must be a stupidity-ometer, where the higher your points means the higher your ignorance :)
